@@thatguynobodywants3716 It’s still super weird seeing new Shrek merch in stores. But now I want some *REAL* dreamworks model kits. Give me Shrek’s house or the Duloc Dungeon. Heck go crazy and give us Megamind’s mech. Surely there’s a market for it.
Gunpla enthusiast here. Sorry you had to struggle with what's basically entry grade sd Shrek. The instructions probably should've been more detailed especially for beginners. Definitely check out some actual model kits tho it's really fun. Currently building Gundam Calibarn rn.
I was excited at first when I saw you show this figure cause I had no idea it existed, but I’m sad to find out how disappointing it really is :( Even tho it’s basically three bucks, those are three dollars that could go towards something much better 😅 Thanks for being the guinea pig here for all of us!
The separate arm parts should be flipped. The notch on the circular side plugs into the arm and the side with a flat end goes in the hands. The instructions aren’t clear enough but I was able to put mine together after looking at it coser. I hope this helps gets his arms on. Loving the shrek content. 7:54
Nooooo model kit 101 never take all the pieces off at once!! PS im so sorry but as someone who builds Gundams it was hilarious watching you struggle to put this super simple kit together 😂😂😂
I just got this toy and the Problem is you attached The hand connecters to the arms first, but what you’re supposed to do is connect the hands to the hand connecters first
I would love to see you cover the Incredibles 2 toy line. One thing that always bothered me about it is that all the packaging for it used renders from the original Incredibles movie instead of the sequel
@@anthonybolton19 I’m fairly confident the Incredibles 2 was one giant excuse to sell a megaton of toys. See the original Incredibles had a very limited toy line and they were discontinued quickly. Disney missed the boat on those and the original line became highly sought after. (The prices have since plummeted since the Incredibles 2 toys released.) Disney likely said “not this time!” and designed the toys wayyy before the movie and only had access to the older renders.
Right, he kept putting the thumbs away from the head, he put the arms down when putting the shell together, and put the legs on the wrong sides. Its not meant to be an articulated figure, its meant to be a statue more than anything.
From a builder of the set, you did put the arms in the wrong direction, they should be put up with the notches pointing forward to align with the pins, it is easier to put the hands on after so you can tell which arm is which. The same with the feet, they should be more pointing out than straight forward. For me it was a fun build, it just takes a little knowledge the instructions dont really give.
@@angusmcfootball No need to worry, there’s more furry! (Hey that rhymed.) If you’d believe it or not one of my BEST furry videos is on the horizon. It involves vintage furry deep lore…oh and there’s a furry collecting video coming out soon too!
Judging by the image, it looks like it's all ogre for Shrek.
Your comment made ms laugh 😂
I don’t think it’s the model kit that’s the issue, it’s the instructions. They weren’t very clear about the direction to put the plugs in
Shrek gundam grade model kit
@@CattyMintgum Oh friendo this is no gundam kit 😅 I wish, I wish…
Never in my life I would think to live enough to see a model kit from a Dreamworks IP, let alone Shrek.
