If there was a teaser poster that asked "Who's in for the Royal Treatment?" with Shrek and Artie shown only, it'd probably fit well with the king story arc but who knows.
13:13 I remember I used to have a bootleg DVD that had that poster in the cover lol,it’s been AGES since I last saw it and it was just buried in my memory
Apparently, Ice Age 6 is not being release in the summer but instead December of 2026. Anyhow, Shrek the third's marketing was everywhere and no one could escape it!!
@@GreatgunYu It’s good! Great composition considering all the renders were originally used separately. And boy that cover for Shrek the Third…some Dreamworks animator worked overtime for that solid render!
I still think the posters for Shrek Forever After are worse, especially stuff like banners that had a weird mix of renders and Shrek always having the same facial expression in all of them and the simplistic cloud background being in all of them
9:53 the running pose is similar to the first movie, or at least the one I remember from the UK. The 2nd film poster/ DVD cover is used for the CD. I own it.
I like the movie Shrek the third, but man all these posters suck, the only posters I like are the first poster with Shrek in his king suit with the crown, and the second Japanese poster for Shrek the third, that’s it 17:46 also I’m surprised you found a bootleg Shrek the third dvd, I bet your probably gonna review some bootleg Shrek dvds huh? Also that cover on the bootleg looks worst than the official posters for Shrek the third😂
Yes! as soon as I saw the original poster I knew it would be perfect for a bootleg dvd. Is the dvd a cam rip? Would have loved to see its menu included in the video as its kinda an oddity
@@birdflower Gosh thank you! Well there’s lots more to come. I’m here to ramble about Shrek and Dreamworks stuff for pretty much forever. 😂 So much to do…some much to see. (What’s wrong with taking the back streets? You’ll never go if you don’t know 🎵)
@@RoseCuarzo Definitely. Dreamworks had big plans for the Princess sub-brand. My theory is that they got some calls from Disney lawyers…either that or poor communication between licensees and the art department. Maybe a bit of both.
The "Shrek-jumping-over-number3" poster was used in Brazil. I remember seeing it at the mall.

The "Shrek jumping over the number 3" one was the cover of my bootleg mexican copy of the movie lmao that's the one I remember the most

I think releasing it around December works since the Ice Age films takes place in a snowy environment
Shrek the ford
The sizing of the characters are so bad in the running poster. WHY IS PINOCCHIO SO TINY LOL
@@OceanCat he’s a real small boy.
@@austin_the_brimstone but he looks smaller than Gingy what the hell 😭😭😭😭
the size looks correct on the Japanese poster though
I actually like the original Shrek 2 dvd cover than the poster. The Shrek the third dvd group cover is really nice as well.
@@GreatgunYu It’s good! Great composition considering all the renders were originally used separately. And boy that cover for Shrek the Third…some Dreamworks animator worked overtime for that solid render!
Time to ogrewhelmed by the terrifyingly bad graphical design!
I was enjoying the video until I saw the dead severed Shrek head behind him 😭😭

@@holad-jlsegovia-423 That and changing the title of the film halfway through marketing definitely doomed it.
Shrek Forever After as a whole shouldn't have had existed.
@@mateus02681 the movie is great, it´s just different for a shrek movie
Couldn't agree more, is so cool but looks like a total different movie
Am I the only one who actually like the dvd cover for Shrek 2 not just because it looks nostalgic to look at?
@@Mr.Feather130 It’s a pretty nice cover. Very well designed. And I gotta admit I’m a nostalgic sucker for it!
@@austin_the_brimstone yeah me too
If i had to summarize Shrek, it would be: The character that the earth didn't know it needed.
I rlly hope we have a REAL shrek -fiona-donkey-ouss adventure one day, (not in an alternative workd like forever after)
@@RoseCuarzo I agree! I’m tired of “Let’s split up gang!” We need a real Shrek-venture.

I love finding vintage bootleg DVDs since they are usually theatre rips. You get to see some of the original trailers plus the live audience reaction.
It looks like a sonic movie poster

Yea those are some bad posters
3:34 Why are there shit stains on it? Lol
It's a bit orange. Maybe rust or something else that's not shit hopefully
Oh hell yea
