One thing I always appreciate from Dreamcatcher and their choreographer is that they take into consideration when a member is belting or singing. Like when Siyeon has her moment in Boca or in Dami and Siyeon in the end in BEcause. Goes to show that they actually mean to sing it live and allow the singer to properly hit the note/s.
SuA's puppet master move is so satisfying to watch. I really like the second verse too, the arm spins and shoulder moves flow very well with the song. It seems their choreographer, Hwang Sooyeon, has been with DCC for about two years now, since Deja Vu. 😁 I got all my albums yesterday and they're beautiful too, top tier comeback all around.

Theories: The concept for this comeback is doppelgangers and a lot of it is inspired by the movie "Us". You will see a lot of mirroring effects used in the video to display the doppelganger concept. In the first shot of the choreo, you can see the members standing in a line, creating a mirror where Jiu and Gahyeon reflect each other. With doppelgangers, it is said that there is a good side, and a bad one. The colors in the video play a lot with that. Blue signifying the good doppelganger, red for the evil one. You can see at the beginning in the hotel scene that the evil doppelgangers are getting ready to take over their doppelganger's lives: Jiu flipping the hourglass signifying they are on the clock, Yoohyeon pushing the bellhop with the outfits their doppelgangers are wearing. There's also a saying with doppelgangers that only one can live, and in a few scenes, you can actually see them get rid of their other half: Handong and her doppelganger being pulled under the curtain, Sua giving her doppelganger a poison apple. At the end of the video, the time has run out and you can see that they have now switched places with their doppelgangers based on the clothing switch. The song title is specifically spelled BEcause, emphasizing the BE, which in chinese means sadness. Therefore, if you were to translate the lyrics, "BE cause I love you" = I'm sad cause I love you. Diving more into the lyrics, they have also said that the song is about an obsessive love, which you can also see throughout the storyline of the video. The video also makes a lot of references to dolls and in their choreo you can see how they play on the puppet concept. Throughout the video, you can see how Jiu is the puppet master and the other members are her dolls. Over time, Jiu has collected the members one by one, each being one of her obssessions. Siyeon was Jiu's currently obbesstion until Gahyeon came along. You can see Siyeon sitting in the room with the chair, waiting for her replacement to come and release her. Towards the end of the video, you can see how Gahyeon is different than the others, as she sits in the chair next to Jiu, who admires her new obsession. Throughout the video, you can see Gahyeon running, as she is being hunted down by Jiu and the other members, but, in the end she is caught and becomes Jiu's new obsession. Unlike with the other members, we also see Gahyeon escape from the cage she is being kept in. Additional theory: In the scene where they're all in the room with the chair, with Gahyeon in the middle, they're standing opposite to their hair colors (Yoohyeon-Handong, Dami-Sua), signifying that they're all doppelgangers. Gahyeon is the only one that managed to escape (we see this when she throws off the cage in the first scene) so she doesn't have a doppelganger. There are a few groups that are as good with choreo as Dreamcatcher, but none are better. I'd rank them with Twice although the styles are quite different.
