Second time hearing this story from Ram Dass here, and feel like I am right there with him talking to the audience. Just love everything about this. Ram Dass changing my life for the better and I am so thankful for this.
Ravi,You Are Absolutely Right! My Life. Changed When I Went To India!! I Went To Rishikesh 3 Years Ago,Was Introduced To Shivabalayogi,Majaraj, The Best Mode Of described ,Was God Was Present In His Image!! ❣️🕉❣️🙏🙏
It makes me feel so small and insignificant! These stories are something that my rational mind cannot comprehend. Maybe I can understand only through experience.
Ram dass inspite of his numerous acid trips was always a seeker..of what he didnt know at that time. That intense seeking is what led him to a being of pure consiousness like Maharaj..he was indeed blessed..a result of past karma
Ram Dass would have never been ready to meet a GURU of the highest caliber had he not surrendered to Bhagwan Das for a couple month,s sacrificing his creature comforts, suffering a little, while absorbing the spiritual vibrations of the HINDU culture. One final footnote:the premise behind the location for the Khuma Mela, where the confluence of the 3 great sacred rivers converge,& the position of certain constellations which line up at a particular time, facilitates the stirring up of the Amirt in a pot, which is poured into the Ganga purifying iit, when one bathes in her waters,at this festival it is supposed to purify one's body & spirit, accelerating one spiritual evolutionary trajectory. This mirrors the kundalini phenomenon known as sucking the nectar. How this works is as follows:the 3 main nerve channels, the Ida,Pingala & Shushumna, converge at the pineal gland, which when stirred up by your KARMIC behavior,s, pulls your reproductive hormones into the pineal gland, which triggers this awakening. This can,if ones inner energies are powerfull enough, force the pineal gland to drip its nectar, amirt into the mouth, which when digested, purifies the body to allow more shakti to flow throughout.
Thank you so much for enlightening us... your life is truly successful as people like us still following you now also... thank you so much... thank you so much
Yes, same for me. At the beginning it opened my heart to seek God more strongly, and then it opened me to the nature of mind and wanting to know what mind was and how it worked? Between Zen in Japan for two years and eight years at the Tibetan Library in Dharamsala afterwards, I certainly go a lot of answers, but i never did get to Kainchi, strangely. Because I was headed there to begin with.
Jan Kelly I totally appreciate your humorous observation. However, I would like to mention they're timeless. They're being provided for those who can learn more about the here and now - from them (the episodes)
This place looks very familiar, like I’ve been there before, but I haven’t, it’s interesting… Is that Maharaj-ji temple ? What’s going on there ? Peace to all ☮️ And thank you always Damien
How about when Ram Dass had to lead the Buddhist meditation in I think Burma? And when he saw Maharaji again he was laughing…“Buddhist teacher didn’t come! Ram Dass teacher hahahaha!”
Anyone else shocked by that piece of info that Harvard hasn't fired a professor in at least 63 years prior to firing Mr. Ram 😉 I mean, either they are perfect, or are too afraid to admit otherwise.
dear ram dass can you please talk a litle bit slowly and very clearly because iam spanish speaker and american english is not like english from london thanks very much i like listening to you every evening we need to connect with ourselves because it seems the whole world is bouiling too many people suffering and can you give me some advices to connect with my soul? thanks very much .
Hi. You asked this once before. Money was often made to arrive when needed, like paying workers, with Neem Karoli Baba telling them to look under stones on the road home. Your question could be asked of any great sage and the answer that I've arrived at, and others hint at, is that the world is supposed to be this way, the hardships are what often initiates the search for truth. Fixing everything would hold many people back in comfort. Of course do charitable works if this appeals to you. Peace. 🙂
Gurus don't interfere with your karma but guide you. You can't change your past but you can always work on your future life starting today with Gurujee direction...stay blessed 🙏

You have to have some pretty incredible karma from the past to be sitting at the feet of NKB in any lifetime. Pretty spectacular.
Always love hearing your voice at the beginning, Raghu. ❤️️
Same..💚
It's like time is divided into when Ram Dass first met Maharajji and there after... 😊
I love starting my day with this podcast
Hi I'm not familiar with this podcast, is it a daily cast? Thank you.
I Love Rama!!!

These stories are crazy yo
Love this man! But it's just occurred to me that for something entitled 'Here and Now', thee's a lot of remeniscing. ha ha

Also; there is only now. Even then was now. and the future. It's all happening now ;p

Yes. It is temple at Kainchi Dham.
I have been to Om Swami's Badrika ashram in Himachal Pradesh. This reminds me of that ashram where a little river flows nearby.

Hi Raghu, at 9:00 it couldn't have been Allahabad which is 1000 km from Delhi. It must have been Haridwar which falls on Nainital-Delhi route.
imthemafia yes
It was Allahabad only
No. It was Allahabad as it is 640 km from Delhi. Also Dada Mukherjee lived in 5 Church Lane, and Babaji used to stay there
Lol the beginning announcer makes me laugh 😂😂

Is the story of finding maharajji from paths to god?
It’s from be here now
Is Ram Dass the Maharaji? Or are they different persons?
Guru of Ram dass is referred as maharaj ji .. his name was neem karoli
They are different... maharaji(also known as neeb krori baba) was guru of ram dass...
Actually a deep question
@@thomaswhigham5610 just stop 😂
That is incredibly hard to answer 😀

so ram das got fired from Harvard before Lsd was even illegal kinda wild
I hate to focus on just this - but why are people always coughing in the audience so badly in these talks? The heavy smoking era? It's just odd!
Buddha teachings
Lsd is overrated mushrooms are the gatekeepers of spiritual dimensions.
Yes, sillysiben is organic, a wild schroom... l.s.d. is made of chemicals..🌷

Why does Raghu speak soooo much ,
If Maharaji was omniscient, why didn't he play the lotto, win a whole bunch of money and feed the poor on a massive scale?

He built 108 temples. Do you think a lottery winning solves anything? 😀
