Questions, I'm in consideration for using MIM (knowing it sintered)? But I need to know it design constraints. 1 - Porosity? Can it hold water like when designing a cup? 2 - Require Machining afterward for tighter tolerances? Typ. tolerances after baking? and typ. tol after machining? 3 - Finest Surface Finish (for Machined or Natural)? e.g. Can it be less than 0.6-08 Ra? 4 - Baking & shrinkage considerations when tolerating? 5 - non-uniform shrinkage? just like a normal injection mould tool design? 6 - How much material properties compromises? e.g. how much reduction in tensile strength and modulus even density? 7 - Type of metal powder available? SS, Alu, Brass, Ti & etc. 8 - Allowable for surface treatment? 9 - Just like injection allowable to have movable cores? Cam system, unscrewing cores, collapsible cores, small overhang dimples (flexes), up & away and etc. 10 - How is it different from what "Metal Desktop" 3D printer is doing?

I am a supplier of metal powder from China. If you are interested in purchasing metal powder, please contact me.My Email:sales06@cstijo.com
what are the differences between injection metal molding and powder casting?
Mim is global leader no 1
Sir, upload video on MIM design, software ,
Why metrial is not brocken after debinding?
Still a little bit of binding material present. Sintering removes most of remaining. And metal spheres are partially welded to one another
Is mold materials is same as plastic injection moulding ?

Theres no homogenous grain structure in this manufacturing process so the parts produced are inherently weak compared to other manufacturing methods.
Yep, for the most part forging is generally stronger and more durable than MIM.

why would I trust a company that not one employee could look into the camera? HEY I'm over here, who are you talking to, not me the customer.
