Of course I watch this _after_ I adjust my clearances and remove the cam chain tensioners. Refitting the rear cam chain tensioner is far and away the most difficult part of the entire procedure. I am now realizing I could have just wound the tool I made into it and left it alone without having to reseat the tensioner.
Thanks for uploading this. Appreciate the tip.

thanks for the info really helped, saved me loads of time, with the cable tie, and tensioner I was able to use a longer screwdriver and clamped it above the frame rail.

There's a bolt on top of the cam tensioner you take off first before putting that screw driver in, correct?

Thanks for the vid! I'm trying to do this with my sv650, but I cant seem to get the hang of it. Can you upload the long video you have of you doing it?

I've unfortunately deleted it! Tip: use a VERY narrow, long bit. It really takes a bit for the bit to grab.

@@greencondoresq I have those same ratcheting hex-bit screwdrivers and never really found a need for them... until now!

excellent video, excellent trick. you metnion at the start of the video that you chose NOT to do the rear cylinder "because it doesnt need it" is that because you found them to be within spec? or does the rear cylinder simply not require adjustment?

    That’s not a screwdriver. That’s a box end wrench.
Wait, maybe it’s a 90 degree ratcheting screwdriver. Just looked like a wrench on a bolt.
    Good vid.

You could just back the tensioner off a bit without removing it
