Memories of the good ol days in the mid 90's hearing this song played at city club usually before 2am they played it every week too for as long as I frequented it. It was the golden age of goth/industrial...
Leigh Nash is in the background because this song was originally sung by Kirsty on the CD. Same reason Kirsty was in the background for Innocente since Leigh Nash is the singer on the CD. Both are divine :)
Caught the show the night before this performance up in ATl. I believe this was in Fl. This band is hands down amazing. Got to meet them all, very cool guys. Thanks for the video post! Like being there again.
As much as I can respect the attempt at singing all this live, the way they were mixed and produced in studio makes it quite difficult to perform live.
LOL...for real...he was having fun, though. I was standing right next to him. He was dancing all rave like and shit. We will probably see him on the official delerium channel.
I really love the song. I didn't even know who sang it till today. My question is why is Leigh Nash kinda in the background? It seems her voice would complement more of the song than what she's been given.
well, it's not her song. she's just there to aid when kristy is doing the sustained notes, i think they managed to perform all the vocal parts in a very smart way that doesn't make a long time fan of this song feel like they copped out (i hate when a legacy artist on tour drops out from singing the chorus of their songs and leaves it up to the back up vocalists to pick up the slack, like mariah carey or mary j. blige).
yeah, i love the song and kristy can still manage some of those notes, with a bit of concession given that the original recorded track was what, 14/15 years at this point? but there is something garish about her stage performance isn't there? from the baby-doll slip dress and pigtails to some of the higher pitches and her somewhat guttural whispers and ooh-ahhs at the beginning. still, nice to see a live capture of this tune, loved it since i first heard it in '94 and never would have thought that they would perform it live. really had no idea what a delerium live performance would be like. real instruments, no pre-recorded vocals, not bad.
Llevo años y años amando esta hermosa cancion. Me transporta, me hace sentir super bien!!
Never got tired of this masterpiece. Awesome to the core!

Yeah! its a simple bass line but I've had it stuck in my head since the night of concert.
oh my stars, that was stunning!!

regardless if someone is hogging, they are both still amazing!

i dont think Leigh "lacks", she is just a different performer, but fair enough :)

You sure are an angry little kid. Go vent your frustrations at being a failed dj out on the dancefloor you queen.
yes, i agree, i kinda think kristy is a bit of a stage hogger.
What is wrong with Kristy? Voice sounds terrible. She did the same thing on a DVD of Delerium I have.
