Blinman and Bunyeroo in the Flinders Ranges

Blinman is a small town located in the Flinders Ranges approximately 500 kilometres north of Adelaide. Blinman is known for its remote and rugged beauty, making it a popular tourist destination The town was first settled in the mid-1850s during the copper mining boom in the area. The Blinman Mine was established, and the town quickly grew with the influx of miners and their families. At its peak, Blinman had a population of around 1,500 people. Today, Blinman has a much smaller population of around 27 residents. The Blinman Mine is no longer operational but has been preserved as a tourist attraction.
The Bunyeroo Brachina Gorge Drive is a scenic route located Just north of Wilpena Pound resort. It is one of the most picturesque drives in the area and offers stunning views of the rugged landscapes and geological formations that make the Flinders Ranges unique.
The drive covers approximately 60 kilometres and can be done as a round trip or combined with other nearby drives and hikes to explore the region further. The route begins near the Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park visitor centre and takes you through Bunyeroo Valley, offering sweeping views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
As you continue along the drive, you enter the famous Brachina Gorge, which is recognized as one of the world's best areas for geological history. The gorge exposes millions of years of Earth's history through its spectacular rock formations, showcasing a range of colours and textures.

Great video guys , the audio is very quiet tho but the scenery is good 👍, 38 bucks for a little tiny schnitzel 😮 that's robbery , passing through McLaren Vale in SA the other day its just a normal every day town the Cafe there wanted 14 bucks for 1 toasted cheese and ham sandwich that's double the price elsewhere , Aussies ripping Aussies off 😢 now I see why folks go overseas 4 their holidays its better value and a shit load cheaper , but I still want to see Australia first but I always walk back out off the shops and pubs that try too rip me off , I'm happy to support honest businesses but not the greedy ones , I feel sorry 4 the locals paying 4 them ridiculous prices
