Thank you for the subtitles on this video. I just started watching you, and your other videos didn't have them. So, it was nice knowing what you were thinking and what some items were that I otherwise wouldn't have known.
I love how heartfelt and beautiful your videos are! I love the idea of 61 points out of 100. I often find myself stressing that I'm not doing enough, and it's nice to take a step back and remind myself that not everything I do has to be perfect! We can just live and enjoy it. Thank you :)
Found your channel today and I enjoyed all your videos! So soothing to watch. And your chawanmushi looks so perfect! 😻
Snoopy was/is my favorite character, ever! When I was a litter girl, my big brother would call me snoopy (nickname)!
Hi Oliver,
I'm going on a little adventure here, I never subscribed to or commented on any youtube channel. But finding your videos was like finding a reassuring place. So I thought I would write you something. I think we are very much alike, same taste, same kind of house style, and same way of looking at things. Completely different way of cooking, but being an italian woman puts me on another level!
Jokes aside, I struggled with perfectionism in the past, I still do sometimes (it's tough!), but true happiness is living at your own pace. As an old song said "You gotta make your own kind of music, sing your own special song".
So thank you for your hard work, it would be nice to have a friend like you (well pen-friend, given the distance).
In a strip Charlie Brown says that we're put here on earth to make others happy. Your videos make me and a lot of other people happy. Bittersweet happy. Like ponzu!
Cheers from Sardinia!
Anna
Thank you. I know it is very hard to force perfection on me by myself. It would be nice to be able to turn a failure into a laugh. I recently made a mistake with Italian food.
Hi, I am really glad I found your channel, I enjoy seeing things from a man's perspective when cooking. 🤗
I agree 100 points for Oliver! I'm going to finish watching your videos you have out, I'll be caught up with you soon! I'm am going to subscribe. So much to enjoy here!
Beautiful meal!
Oliver I think you are 100pts out of 100😊 beautiful energy
The meal you prepared looks delicious!
Love watching you shop for various things. I'm guessing those knives would last a lifetime if taken care of. I have a lot of useless gadgets in my kitchen that I've bought. 😄 I need to rehome some of them. Good video. I've watched all of them now and looking forward to more.
Hi Oliver! Everything you cook looks incredible. I've seen several of your videos and your dishes are excellent! Greetings from Spain😊
hello🇪🇸
Great job with the Kakiage, I never knew it was so simple to prepare and I am finally going to give it a go with the Chawan Mushi. Thank you Oliver ;)
Thank you.
I really enjoy your video ! Thank you for that ! I hope to visit Japan in autumn 2024 From Quebec, Canada!
Hi Oliver, how are you doing these days? PLEASE prepare Yakisoba (chicken and veggies) on your next video/post! I order out for delivery Japanese food 2-4 times a month. It's my ALL-TIME favorite cuisine!
I like yakisoba too.
Oishi 🤙🏼💚🏵️

Onigiri with salted kelp is my fave. It’s a flavour bomb. So delicious yet so simple. Love your simple recipes, Oliver. Keep it up!
Hello Oliver😊 Another fantastic video. So nice seeing the shops and your recipes.
I really enjoy your videos. I hope you continue to show us around Tokyo and continue cooking delicious meals. It’s very soothing to follow you along as you go about your day.
Also, will you consider giving a tour of your apartment? Your living/dining room and kitchen look really nice.
The strainer ladle is called a spider … normally in Chinese cooking they are more of a wire mesh that resembles a spider web … maybe that’s where the name comes from I don’t know … but the utensil you showed. is just basically a fancy spider for straining items out of hot oil usually 😊
Oh, Thank you!
aah i’m early thank you for these relaxing videos:)
Deu vontade de tentar reproduzir essa receita aqui no Brasil 😋
The metal spoon at the beginning it's just a strainer.
Strainer! Thank you!
Hi Oliver, I a, enjoying your channel. I have a question, when you list the price and it is 0.7 USD does that mean .70 cents? It was neat to see the housewares you were shopping for! Thanks for sharing
Thank you! Yes, 0.7 USD means 70 cents.
