I ended up using roughly 4 metres/yards of fabric for this skirt. You can cut multiple layers and place them contrasting each other along the hemline for more drama ^.-
Thank you for showing us how you laid out all the fabric and layers with the pattern pinned to it, that was so helpful to see how you cut everything out. The tutorial was so easy to follow and I am going to dash out to get fabric asap!! Thank you!
sho! kim this looks so good T^T I was thinking of using denim for this (just some old jeans that need a purpose), but if I wanted to keep from having skin from showing, would make a double shit, with the other laters turned opposite to fill in the gaps work? hope that makes sense. other than that, awesome stuff, as usual🥰
Hello! Lovely tutorial! Thank you so much! I was wondering if there is a way to make this a high-low skirt? I want to make the back longer and the front shorter all in one cut. Is this possible, or will I need to cut multiple pieces to create this look? Appreciate any thoughts you have!
I think it should be possible to make the high-low hemline if you make the shape without the waist hole, and then figure out how to refold with a bit of an offset to get the lengths you want for back and front, and then cut the waist hole

The elastic length is your waist measurement 😃

I used about 2.5yards for this skirt
