Yukong is an Hunt character disguised as a Harmony character. She has a higher attack than Dan Heng.
But Dan Heng has better multipliers.
SW has hunt multipliers, they love double agents. Also Luocha's eidolons sampling from every path.

Each eidolon on Luocha is jut like taking a part time job on other path

From what I can gather, it seems Hunt AI understands that you need to basic attack to get skill points, while Harmony AI is just focused on giving allies buffs
So while Hunt can occasionally use basic attack, Harmony just does Skill, which is funny cause it’s the other way around that players want to do
I hate how Bronya buffs my Yang into him doing a basic attack when I got 3 skill points up lmao.

I built her for ult nuking and it's really funny when she does more damage than Sushang

Hunt's high speeds is what makes bronya better imo. "Oh you faster than me? Bronya: Come its your turn again"
Just make Yukong the slowest character in the team and no matter how fast your hunt characters they will have turn after Yukong.
@@alexpav845 that doesnt always happen with seele. I use yukong with seele and at one point seele outrun yukong. I think it's because of her NA speeding up her next turn. Thankfully it's not a big deal because most of seele dmg come from her ult anyway. And I think thats something most people missed: trying to use her perfectly is hard, but thats not an issue if your team dps comes mainly from using ult

Remember if you run multiple harmony characters they can both use dance dance and the enemies don’t get turns lol well one was Asta. So….

the game of the year change would be to create *priority and target lists* like in artery gear fusion. Basically be able to program what your character does/doesn't do either by repeated turn cycles (Ult>Skill>basic>basic>repeat), presence or absence of buffs/debuffs on friendlies/enemies, targeting priority based on current % life, max % life.
Omnyoji has a similar mechanic -- being able to auto lock where the buff will go, and lock which skills to be used in auto -- and it's really a life changing mechanic. I wish mhy adapts this soon bc it's so annoying to auto play sometimes
The best way to speed tune Yukong right now, is to tune for the character you DON't want to buff.
Make her 1 spd slower than that character and she will basically never hit them in the turn order, since she goes right after them.
If you only have 1 preferred buff target, tune to both of the characters you don't want to buff.
EX.
Healer 136 spd
Other buffer 135 spd
Yukong 134 spd
DPS XXX spd doesn't really matter.
Now even if the healer or other buffer get desynced by cc (imprison etc.) Yukong is still tuned to the other one and will hit the right target.
I use her with Sushang and alternate between her double shot and buff so that sushang can spam her ult to eat the stacks.
For me my fav team atm is Clara hypercarry with Yukong and Tingyun as buffers and Luocha as the sustain and cleance.

Yeah I had all erudition and destruction dps, but a few days ago I got sleep like the dead from standard banner so I just decided to build dan heng 😂 Definitely worth it tbh, his dmg is nowhere near as good as my qingque, but it definitely makes a difference, esp since I didn't have any wind chara built either
BC hunt is only for dmg
nihility=dmg and debuff
Destruction=dmg and sustain
Erudition=dmg and aoe
just like Welt, main dps disguise as debuffer
Try a double team where you just use Yukong and March. This is best when both are max Es for both. March provides shields and healing and Yukong can swap between basic and skill allowing her to always have her own skill buff when her talent is active, which at e4 than boosts that shot even more.
Question: my Pela and March always out speed my welt, what’s the problem?
The turn order is fine for ~2-3 cycles, but then it just gets screwed up
You can also just go slowish tanky yukong, it goes hard

11:35 She can benefit from e4 if you start a fight after you use her technic. Well, its not that useful actually, but still this option exists. ( *intense copium inhaling sounds* )
Her e4 is basically only for her ultimate since you will always want to ult while her skill is active.
Or you can Bronya skill your DPS Yukons. (Unholy amount of copium inhaled )

I ended up building Yukong only because I lost the 50/50 on Luocha and I desperately needed imaginary, and I'm so happy I did!
It took a while until I learned to get the most out of her, but once I did she is so good.
Every single fookn time i watched code, every layer on video have different avatar lol 😂
I suggest that instead of buffing all unit, it would be more decent if he only buffs hunt, dest. and erud. instead, yeah sure there are abundance, nihility and harmony that can DPS, but I dont want my stack wasted on a pure dedicated support.
Its been years since I last played brave frontier but iirc its auto battle is actually pretty good so hoyo should probably yoink that and apply it to star rail.
Maybe you can make a video of the drop rate statistics for relic main stats
I use Yukong only with slow dps Qingque, works for me just fine in 2nd team in Chaos.
We really need some team / character settings for auto play, could be simple like focus on: skill / auto atack / keep buffs or debuffs up, Use ult: on Cooldown / if needed / never, Focus Enemy: With weakness, lowest health, most health.
My absoulte Favorite would be a System like in Tales of Arise, which let you create an Priority List of Actions with Conditions, was like if own HP is < 25 % use Skill x or Item y, Ally hp less than X %, anyone debuffed, CP (ressource whic is supposed to be managed) lower than x %: dont use abilities which cost cp.
It also had templates for healers using less ressources, no items, all out on bosses etc.
With that there shouldnt be much complaints about autoplay ai.
And imagine the amount of Best Setup videos people could pump out lol.

I build Yukong as a DPS with Salsotto and Banditry and also use Planetary Rendezvous, you can probably guess my team.
I am SOOOOOO happy I have exactly E5 Yukong. Ima get free E6 with 1.2 patch LETS GO!!!
I rarely play on auto bc of that. 😅 The AI is so bad that most often than not my Tingyun will buff my entire team - including healer and eat all my skill points, and watch as my JingYuan does normal attack event tho he does not have full stacks for his lightening lord. It's truly tragic.

Just another fantastic unit that I NEED to build. I swear, there is not enough energy to level up and build all of these characters unless you drop some cash. They already get enough from me on the Gacha, why they gotta nickel and dime me on the energy. Christ all mighty.
I've decided to run her as sub dps because I don't have the relevant speed relics to do anything. She's really good when played correctly, or I tried anyway 😅 level 70

I wish I had spare pulls to get Luocha / Yukong. But I'm saving so I gotta get by with Tingyun and Asta, and I got lucky with E6 Asta so that helps.
You will still get a free yukong in 1.2 so no worries (it was mentioned during official star rail stream). I think they will specify the conditions to claim her during the stream that will happen on july 7th this sunday

for me she always use her basic atk first when theres a imaginary mob on the field
The amount of times my characters could take out the opponent but decide to basic attack instead or for the fire trailblazer taunt every chance they get. I have been building Qingque and Serval with Silver Wolf then Natasha and fire trailblazer and its annoying how many skill points are dumped into the taunt while my Silver Wolf or either of my dps could use a skill to kill the enemy. Although Qingque uses her skill a lot so it's mostly a complaint about Serval.

I know you say she never benefits from Roaring bowstrings on her E4, but that's not entirely true. She does when you user her E into her Q while the stacks are up which I think is the intention.

I'm using Luocha, Yukong, Silver Wolf, Seele. Then I choose Nihility in SU.
the primary reason I would take the BP is the Light Cone, but in HSR they are pretty meh in average. Well more money saved :) And E4 and E6 should have been swapped, would make more sense for me.

All of the relic sets suggested alter her turn order in your team. Those are fine if you want to use her as a main or sub DPS and less as a buffer. I recommend the damage reduction 4pc as it gives energy regen and doesn't change her order
That just makes no sense, nothing about them alters turn order. Also, if the set isn't written poorly you have to be under 50%hp when your turn starts to make any use of the energy. This is a bad recommendation, just leave the sets to the side until a character that properly benefits from it comes around.
@@ch1dd Actually that energy from below 50% is not bad at all, she will get 5 energy and then get immediately healed by luocha. The set in general can help her not die especially without a tank to draw aggro

Although her damage is so high you could totally run bandit with crit stats once you have good enough pieces
@@jamesmarkell3343 You only get it in the beginning of the turn according to the text, at the same time as you heal. So Luocha makes it impossible to happen when his auto skill is up, or his field is up. The reduction is absurdly minor for characters that aren't taunting or building resistances. It's sounding like a lot of placebo by now... even though I want the set to be functional, it requires a very specific character style.

I needed another healer because I only have Natasha (no Bailu, no Gepard 🥲) and so Luocha felt like a necessary investment if I’m supposed to survive. I lost my 50:50 pity pull for him and in the process of finally getting him, I pulled enough Yukong for E6. As much as I love her and needed her, I would have wanted to get some Pela and Qingque eidolons 😅
Yea I saw that YK needs e6. Glad I got lucky with that.

I've tried to build three different hunt characters and none of them have worked out for me they all feel like they're damaged falls.off massively compared to my counter Clara or my double Tap QQ
