Well this was damn fun.. I forgot this game was so good to play. Beat ‘em ups done right. This is how I like them. There’s some very simple platforming, a few buttons that have to be pressed every so often, a level up system which allows you to upgrade your characters and you’re actually able to deal damage to your opponents whilst they are knocked down. Sounds like a lot of simple things but I found them missing in many Beat em Ups I’ve played. Difficulty is very easy imho. The only problem sometimes is that your ally’s AI is pretty stupid. Whilst you can expect him to smash against enemies, he’s not good for much more. Sometimes you have to use Iceman to freeze projectiles shot at you and then use Mr Incredible to pick them up and throw them at the enemies, but whilst switching back to Mr Incredible, dumb Iceman just messes around and doesn’t do anything to stop incoming particles for example. Tad annoying, but not enough to find the game even closely frustrating. The only stage I struggled at was bonus stage 3-2 because that one REALLY comes down on teamwork. I decided to cheat infinite supermoves for that just so I could make it. It’s just a bonus stage anyway.. but really doesn’t seem intended for Single Player. Anyway, great game.. lots of fun. Happy I got to re-record this in better quality

I was right. What a great game based on the movie. And for that, movies and games did great in the 2000's. Such as Finding Nemo, Backyard wrestling 2, Terminator 3, Downhill Domination, 9, Halo 3, Dead Space, Journey to the center of the Earth, Bioshock and the rest.
Well, too bad for you, because we already have an Incredibles sequel in 2018. I honestly think that the official 2018 Incredibles sequel is actually better than the Rise of The Underminer video game.
They didn't, but I did when mixing/implementing. The dialogue was not recorded with constant banter in mind. I pieced together a crap ton of one-liners into a somewhat cohesive flowing narrative. Like... You could outrun it, but most people tried not to. Lol
@@magzzzsz I created most of the sound effects, all of the vocal effects, structured and implemented pretty much everything, created the banter system between the heroes, and pretty much did 85% of everything you hear, minus music creation.

I literally slept under my desk and worked a 90-hour week the last week before going gold. Then they added some random shit and had to downres my sounds to just absolute tiger portable garbage.
My god i want to play this again. It was such a good idea. Could you imagine if they took the concept and gave it a full modern day take? With a longer campaign and maybe switching between different members of the family. You could do so much with this simple but effective setting for a fun beat em up game.

If they had used this game as the plot for Incredibles 2, they probably wouldn't have any idea where to go from there. I'm glad that the plot for Incredibles 2 involved finding a way to legalize heroes again - especially since fans like myself wanted to know how that would happen
I agree. The end of the first movie even hinted that superheroes aren't legal yet. Mr. Incredible asked if they can come out of hiding and Dicker's response was "let the politicians handle that".
