- Offered for sale is this beautiful Porsche 928 S, a 2000 model with only 89k miles and in very good original condition throughout. This Porsche is immaculate from front to back, with a clean title history and no issues. This was the first year of the S model, which boosted the performance of the motor and added another gear to the transmission, along with 16 inch slotted rims and front and rear spoilers. The original Guards Red exterior is in very good condition from front to back, and the Black leather interior is immaculate throughout with limited patina. The chrome factory rims are in excellent shape with fresh Sumitomo radials. Power comes from a 4.7 liter 234HP V8, coupled to a 4-speed automatic transaxle gearbox. All books and keys come with the car. Do not miss this one!

I like the fact that the 928 is sort of a sleeper car and isn’t prolific. Makes it special.
My absolutely favourite shape of car I have ever seen in my 54 years.
Same here!!
This car will never be confused with anything else. Still fresh after all these years.
I've always loved this car since Risky Business came out. Porsche, there is no substitute.
Joel, you're not to drive my car...
@@lawmarques8523 - Priceless!!
"Hit it!"
Tony Montana had one too...
What?? Even civic 1.5 turbo is better( today's modern car )
Bill is the exact antithesis of Doug DeMuro. I love them both for their boundless enthusiasm about cars.
Demuro is a bit too frenetic, prefer the calmed 2 word per second delivery of Bill…
Nothing but "quirks and features, quirks and features, blah blah blah" with Doug
Ontopic: That is an awesome Landshark!😍😍😍
Offtopic: Bill, you have perfect voiceover vocals! 👌
Loved The 928. 1983 is the year I graduated high school.
It was truly the most advanced car in the world when it was first produced and it stayed that way until 1988
I know you like pop up headlights Bill, these are my favourite of that kind and this is one of my favourite cars of all time. I'm actually watching some of your older shows again. Keep up the good work
Those wheels were from the second generation of the car. That’s a gorgeous car and I wish this were produced today.
This is, by far, my favorite Porsche.
I wish Porsche would bring back this model. It’d be beautiful.
Another good 80s movie that featured a 928 was "The Hidden", where the opening scene had a bank robbery where the bad guy took off in a black Ferrari 308. Great stuff!
Excellent movie
I was traumatized as a boy around age 10 having to sit in the back seat of a Porsche 928. My best friend David, his dad drove this exact same year 928, except his was silver with chocolate brown interior, same wheels but machine finished. That back seat almost caused me a panic attack it was so tight, even as a 10 year old boy. Even today that memory sitting in that humid, raining parking lot, crammed uncomfortably in that 928 back seat, talking nonsesne to his dad, riding that 3-4 miles home in that back seat it freaks me out.
where were you in the car
This is such an entertaining review by Bill, who is one of a kind. Well presented. Sorry I missed the sale. These are going up fast in price!
25k
5k. Junk.
without a doubt my favorite Porsche. And YES! Take me for a ride, man!
Great vid Bill thanks for taking the time to share it. It’s 5 years old at the time I found it so I guess it’s a classic now 🎥 🎉
Forget Corona Virus whiskey, When I am stressed or sad, I watch a Curious Cars with Bill. Works every time. I have saved $$$$ on psychologists and rehabs!!!
For thirty odd years I’ve owned three 928’s Truly love them and an incredibly beautiful car. Also had 911 wide body and hated it 😊
The black 928 in Weird Science was so bad ass 😎🔥😍
In Europe the 928 had 230hp with automatic transmission and 240 with manual. The 928 S had 300-310 hp. Wonderful car! I went with a friend for a summer holiday in Europe in a 928 S4.
That has reminded me of the sound of my 928 S2. Demonstrably, the best sounding of all 928 models.
This was a full fledged exotic in its time. Totally unattainable.
Still is 😈😈
Right, "totally" unattainable... which is why I saw them CONSTANTLY back then in Brooklyn
@@stanleymasterson1135 I meant for people who bought them legally.. 🤷♂️
@@777jones Obviously they were all legal. The 928 cost $50k in 1984. Not a rich man's car. My neighbor's Lagonda cost $155k that same year. THAT was a rich man's car
@@stanleymasterson1135 houses in Brooklyn cost $50k in 1984. It sounds like you weren’t there
Her name was Kelly LeBrock.
God it's beautiful.
So agree with you on the leaf blowers! I have always loved this car and still do!
One of the most beautifully designed cars in history.
You ALWAYS lift my mood with your talking
Thanks
I love how 200 bucks will fix whatever is not correct. Nice car.
Haha, going back to your classic videos, just as good as your new ones!
gorgeous machine
gorgeous machine!
Some people don't like it but I love it. Thumbs up.
I don’t gush over any car, much less from the 70s, but the 928 is the exception. Everything, EVERYTHING is gorgeous, right down to the aluminum spider V8 intake runners. I wouldn’t change a thing.
If only this had the Pasha velour it would be off the charts.
Oh yes, it has an air conditioned glove box!
1980’s cool. Loves the 928 awesome car for the time
Awesome car, Thanks for sharing!
Great review. Very down to earth.
Dude, this is the stuff of legends. Great car. Great review. Kelly Lebrock??
I had an '83 euro spec 5 speed 982S. 300 hp and it would really go. Would love to have another one day.
Love this car !
Great video.. i just bought a 84 928s.
Bill, you are the best narrator!
Bill is my new favorite auto reviewer. I want to move to Fla and work with him.
Bill says it’s too hot and sh*tty
Florida is too hot and humid, don't more there!
One of my favs too! Search, they did a four door concept of this that I guess rolled into the Porsche Panamera years later.
Great video
The best Porsche ever
So sweet!
"I'm sure the 'air cooled guys' made him sit at the back of the room...LOL Bill you're quite the comedian behind that raspy somewhat menacing voice of yours 😂😂😂
Nice classic car
Bill is great calls it the way it is!
lol, yes I hate those blowers! the noise is invasive! There's always some jackass using a power tool at 7am! Great review!
I´m eighties, and God I love the cars that you show in your channel.
This is the way to sell cars. Provide a history of the car. Give a driving impression with humor. Love the neighbor comments.😂 The 928 is a movie ✨ star.
It really looks great in red...also I think Tony Montana's car is the best colour...
Love this car, I always wanted one. I have a 911 C4S Cabrio, but want this one..
I own a 1983 , black on black 5 speed 928 S with BBS wheels. The leather is in excellent condition. I got a stage 1 supercharger kit from 928 Motorsport in Wisconsin installed. It is fast and runs like a dream .... the dogleg 2nd gear takes a little getting used to . I would definitely up grade the alternator as the originals were much too weak . It still draws a lot of attention and wins awards at car shows. Definitely a collectible G.T. that has reasonable maintenance cost if bought in good condition.
Bill the U-Boat commander!
I am on a mission to find Bill's first "FOR THE LOVE OF GOD" moment. My theory is that is when we get the full Bill awakening.
Love it
Tom Selleck after receiving a huge bonus on Magnum Bought his co stars each a 928 . Rick and TC
The only problem is it's an automatic transmission. Thanks.
Such a shame so few came with the manual (about 1/10). These were 300-340hp over here in Europe vs. only 240ish in the States. Properly fast even 40 years later!
18:45 to 19:00 Classic!!!
Yesss. . . the Kelly LeBrock car 😃 in "Weird Science" 1985
18:08 I once had my BMW 335 up to 147 and that's plenty for anyone, especially on public roads.
Was totally expecting Bill to have Motley Crue playing on the radio in the background.
This is the one that I want. The 928 S or S4 with the front air dam and rear spoiler. Leather interior and auto transmission.
Lol, auto trans... the trans for people who don't know how to drive
So Lovely
Its funny how he can make a full review vid in less than 20 mins if there are no birds to complain about. Lol
Bill, you're harmlessly tough in the funniest way. Could you do a radio show? I'd be a daily listener :) :)
Aside from the chrome wheels, I love it!
You'd prefer a set of Crager wheels? Gag me!
@@johna.4334 You prefer dudes? Keep it to yourself.
@@texmex9721
Bl@w me.
@@johna.4334 It's 2021 and I support your gayness, but my wife says don't blow loosers and she is the boss.
@@texmex9721
You remind me of that hillbilly character in the movie 'Deliverance'. You know, the one who gave it to Ned Beatty. And I'm Burt Reynolds. Get my drift?
Just imagine...had Porsche played along and the 928 became popular, Tom Selleck may have killed the 911!
That sound takes me back when I was with my friends Dr father’s 86 944 turbo Black /black Dallas bounds!!,starc club, keg get the party stared
The automatic drops the price, but color makes up for it!! $25 solid 🇺🇸💰🥃
Here in Belgium we actually have federal laws against making noise before and after certain hours, also sundays
Yes Bill your correct,we had this in our walls in the early 80s, I was in a circle of friends who parents own thes rides,as they say Show me the money 💰 ,and I’ll show you the product,,The S. Is the one to own
My favorite "curious " car.
as usual Bill does a great job with his colorful narration of the cars he is showing us. I thoroughly enjoy watching his videos. the only downside to watching them is that when I go to the website, they're already sold. very few cars in the videos are still available! I guess he does a really good job selling. keep up the great work and don't pay attention the negative comments, they're just jealous!
😂😂😂
Bill is an ass.
Hands down, best cars salesman I've ever witnessed. Witty as hell, but most importantly knowledgeable as fuck. I wouldn't mind having a beer or 2 and couple shots of Jack with this guy and talking cars.
Going deep into the Bill catalog now that he is away. August 2022.
I believe it may have been in 16 candles
Still looks great!! These have been in bargain territory for around 20 years now. I see nice examples with manual transmissions going for $30k.
Excellent review! You should be on radio with your voice!
Bill was on Fox News years ago under the name Dick Morris.
I remember seeing this car in the dealer window and always wanted one, but couldn't buy a Spanish Castle.
one of the Risky Business original movie cars in currently on sale ...Chicago Craigslist..Downers Grove Illinois.
Some day😱
Hahaha Omg I immediately thought of the same movie lines from Scarface and Risky business as Bill ended up rattling off. I was not expecting that, but I must have a similar type brain as Bill. "Who's the U boat commander?" and "machine gun turrets are extra" were exactly what I was thinking. The only one he didn't say that I thought off initially was when Tom Cruise outran Guido the Pimp and said, "Porsche, there is no substitute."
Actually it wad the planned replacement for the 911
Front end is out of alignment. In wreck?
Tony Montana used this car to impress Elveera, I think he took her on a date in it... Told Manny take a cab home.
Would of been amazing if it had round popup headlights and would speak for itself for the 80s future
It does???
one sold at auction about 1998 for < $9000 in Modesto Auction it had under 27,000 miles and was so pristine it and a 12 cyl Jag were too exotic for the farmers to take out their cash
I love my 87 944 5sp white /black leather,and so did my wife’s attorney
Always wondered why Porsche never turbo’ed it….imagine a twin turbo 928. Still hoping that Porsche will make a 2-door Panamera and call it 928.
I have a Platnium coloured car with same interior
They are nice 👍 but be prepared to “tinker” with them
Typical European electrics😩
Good video Bill✅
Oh man this one i buried the meter 350 !!
What happened to the front ?
Did you happen to have a tiger to ride passenger?
Is this the Porche engine that was used in the Back to the Future car? It's the only thing I've heard that is beefy enough sounding to have been the right engine for that car.
There should be a law, that everybody in a neighbourhood is only allowed to rede his lawn mower for one hour per week. It has to be a certain time on a certain day for everybody. I will be one very loud hour per week, but for the rest of the day everybody can just chill and read a book.
