Difficult to impossible to get m-Nitro Phenol (it's potentially explosive). Either one has to make it oneself or find an alternative. I have replaced m-Nitro Phenol with Alazrian Yellow GG (which was also difficult to get as its not a very popular indicator).
At the end, you pour the solutions into a bowl with citric acid, and it returns to colorless. Can that same liquid be re-used as the base to cause another color change, or will the citric acid ruin it for future use? Thanks!
I'm looking for a reaction where you start with color (any color is ok) and after a certain time, it becomes colorless. If possible I would like to do it with non-harmful chemicals, because it's going to be an experiment for primary school kids. -Start with a color (already set up in the container, if possible use non-harmful chemicals or natural products) -Add H2O and it becomes colorless -If possible, change the time it takes to become colorless based on the concentration of the initial chemicals/products -Use natural products or non-harmful chemicals, as it is an experiment for kids, primary school students. Thank you very much.
I'm so amazed how you poured the base so evenly in the glasses
U are not the only one who said that, ha ha. It need some practice.
Awesome
This helped so much! I’m going to do this for my science fair, you just got yourself another subscriber !
That is awesome! Science always makes the best "magic" tricks.
As I expected, it's all about the pH indicators!
There are some typos in the video. It should be (1) thymolphthalein, (2) p-nitrophenol [sometimes called 4-nitrophenol] and (3) phenolphthalein.
Oh great lord, the Fine Bros haven't seen this yet. It has "react" in the title...
Cool sir. Are you a Chemist?
Nice video 👍,but I don't think everyone has does ingredients.
Sweet video we tried a similar one with red cabbage mixed with stuff 😳🥰😌💚👍

What if someone wants to drink it?
Liz zy please don't drink it, it is sodium hydroxide
Hello. Can u please give me step by step procedure on creating the remaining 3 colors
From where can I get this chemicals ??
This is so cool!
What you need:
Water
Thymolphthalien
M-Nitropenol
Pheonolphthalien
Soduim Hydroxide
Ethanol
Citric acid as well
What amount of ethanol and thymolpthalien is required

+EscapeWorks if you add more base to the solution, it will turn to some colour again
what is this sorcery?!!?!😂
jp
i love your videos
It's really nice amd also for an unique activity to show the acid and base reactions. It really nice. Thanks.
It was awesome .... i have arranged all the chemicals except M-Nitrophenol . So can u tell me ...what to use instead of M-Nitrophenol ...plzzz

this is so amazing im doing this for my scrience project at school.. sorry if i copyed u
+Emily Guo please copy it
what is the different ratios between the indicators?
We are making this for tomorrow's science project. Thanks for the ideas!
Good luck
Me too
Can someone tell me the precise science behind it?
Can I drink it or not!?
wow...!!!
This is @mazing ...!!!
@wesome the best ever @mazement of science
+ramchandra jangid thanks!
Can you explain about this test? How?Why?😶🤔
so amazing :) Thank you :)
Thanks!
Is there a way to get pink?
Sir u can use KMno4
Why ethanol is added here?
this chemical dissolve in ethanol , but not water
Can u tell me the ratio for other colours too?😊
what water is need normal or distilled water??
Normal water
Naan try பண்ணினேன் colour varala bro
Im confused.... ;-;
Where to find the indicators
what is the scientific base of these reaction ?
+Aziza Magdy Bekhit Rabel hp indicator in acid or base
Where are the directions?
Guariscimi tutto anche la sindrome psichiatrica e l aids oids e u mi chiamo Biagio di balsamo e i tumori e il cancro
Is these all are indicators
whats the trick? lol
yah yah 😎
amazing bro
amazing
What we can use instead of thmolphathalin?
thmolphathalin is the best PH indicator changing from colorless to blue color
amazing wow
VERY NICE IDEA I AM GOING TO MAKE THIS ONLY SCIENCE EXHIBITION ............. I LOVE IT I THINK SO I WILL GET SELECTION IN IT
coolll
Its magick
I am confused please
How to do dis
wow
