Cyrus, without even looking at the merits of the case, the Supreme Court, being one branch of the three branches of a democratic government, has the sole power to interpret the Constitution. The Speaker being part of the Legislature, can apply the Constitution but he doesn’t have the power to interpret the Constitution. The Speaker has to stand down and accept the court ruling, whether he likes it or not. He needs to tell the NDC that the court has ruled and that the original NPP majority still stands. The world shouldn’t be laughing at Ghana’s lack of understanding of democratic system.
The Supreme Court is inconsistent with their rulings, why do they only act in favour of the ruling party ?. Just because NPP has sent you abroad doesn't mean they're benefitting the rest of us. Stop trying to defend everything they do they're clearly in the wrong. 1. Why didn't NPP boycott parliament in 2020 when the same verdict was come to ?. 2. Why was the supreme court quick to settle this issue but have sat on the proper sexual rights and family values bill ?. 3. Why haven't they spoken on the imprisoned protesters ?. 4. Why did they leave Sall constituency without representation ?. 5. Why did they vacate Gyakyie Quason's seat over a small technicality knowing they'll not have parliamentary representation ?. 6. Why are NPP going against their own constitution ?. For some strange reason I can't post this on the channel and only under the comments but these are all genuine questions. Cyrus is once again doing the false equivalency game which is the hall mark of all disappointed NPP supporters trying to make them loom the same. What benefit does NDC even have in maintaining Adwoa Safo in her position when they can vacate her seat, call for a by-election and gain her seat ?.
So shoud the adzoa safo's case benefit NDC before the law should be activated? massa the law is the law we dont have to wait to benefit someone before we activate it the law must always be applied, and that will give confidence to the citizens , but in this case they only activate the law when it comes into their favour which means they don't have the coutry at heart but for their political party interest that all cirus is saying....now u the NDC guys have also started behaving like the NPP .....for the NPP whenever someoneissaying the truth, they tag that person as NDC and now the NDC too tags someone as disappointed NPP member when the person says the truth@@AYTM1200
@@mawuenafifiwilson5374 look at this 🗑🚮 you've written. They quite literally can't throw her out because; 1. She made the minimum number of appearances in parliament to keep her seat. 2. She had a permission of absence from the speaker. NDC couldn't remove her even if they wanted to. You either didn't read my comment properly or didn't watch the video. You disappointed NPP supporters and your politics of equalisation will not work.
The supreme court is fake, just as our democracy! They are working under the instructions of Akufo Addo and NPP. Our parliamentarians are also working for their interest not the people! Of course the supreme court can interpret the law but in their own interest! Remember the word is interpretation of the law! Parliament can also refuse to obey the directives of the supreme court because it's also working in their own interest! The supreme court lacks common sense in most of their judgments so some of us don't respect their rulling, and also they are fake! Give us a break! It's about good governance not interpretation of law which doesn't produce food or manufacture anything. All these law this, law that are completely useless in our part of the world because they are not applied correctly. Even when they are applied, it's selective!
I like the way you do your analysis.
Thank you very much my brother
Another educative video. Well done. Unfortunately, nobody is in charge . Its controlled chaos.
Thanks for the education brother.
I think we should send this video to parliament and play it for them....
And it's also another simple reason why we should vote for THE NEW FORCE
God bless you sir
It’s just a shame, that’s all I can say about our judiciary system today
Afua Safo seek permission before she left I was told
