Man this is one of those... Which is more important? type of deals. Not sure if you got the travel insurance, but I ALWAYS get the insurance for those "Just in case" moments. Cruise Lines don't have that kinda pull for missed flights. The most they do is give you onboard credit for the "stress". We got stuck in Bermuda on the NCL Joy, and they gave us $100 on board credit. Lucky for us we live in NYC, so we didn't have to worry about flights. Tough deal.
Lucky you, this was a major inconvenience for us. But we had a good time on the ship overall
It sucks yall went through this. My cruise with messed up because of the storm too. This is showing me that TRAVEL INSURANCE especially when it comes to cruises is so important. Big the travel insurance they provide you through the cruise line but a THIRD PARTY because they pay you back even if you miss a port and definitely if you miss a flight or they change the itinerary drastically.
Will keep that in mind next time because a cruise is such a great experience. It’s just annoying when stuff like this happen.
