My favorite teams is the Raptors and my home team of the Hornets but I love some of the lakers teams, Shaq and Kobe are some of my favorites and I hope the franchise will see more success in the future

I would love to hear or see a comprehensive look at what in the hell was going on with the lakers from 1975-1979? Hello you’ve got Kareem Abdul Jabbar the best player in the league in his prime and did nothing? I realize there was no Magic Johnson on the team but this is Kareem in his 20s. I just don’t get why no one talks about those teams uneventfulness. The rosters alongside Jabbar aren’t so bad either, this was before my time but still I think it would be an interesting topic for a documentary.

Portland Better Walton in his Prime was at UCLA sidenote (College Walton was better than College Kareem) but in Portland in 77 in 65 games was a beast averaged 14.4 rebounds per game even on Bad feet Golden State Better Rick Barry averaged 30.6 ppg .904 from the Free throw line and 3 steals a game in 75 Seattle Better 78 and 79 Seattle won the west the End....

@@backnine39 I get what you are saying but those teams that won the western conference in 76 77 78 & 79 like Portland , Golden state and Seattle their rosters weren’t as talented as those lakers rosters. Most people can’t name 2 players from the Golden State team besides Rick Barry and same with Portland and Seattle. Some people can perhaps name Dennis Johnson and Jack Sikma from Seattle but most people without googling can’t name multiple players from those teams. Kareem and the lakers from 75 - 79 underachieved to the extreme.
I bet LA Laker fans think to themself and reminisce “Remember those 5 Championships in Minneapolis?” won 12 but claim 17 and yet we don’t see George Mikans Jersey on the rafters.
I’d strongly suggest you look a lot closer in the Rafters we have a Blue Banner that honors the 5 Championships the Lakers won in Minneapolis as well as another banner honoring the HOF players that played on those teams

A man who won a franchise 5 chips should have their jersey retired. Especially if those championships from a completely different city/state are highly celebrated.

They went into the bubble without Demarcus Cousins that didn’t play a single game and Avery Bradley who was a big part of those last 3 games before the bubble. They beaten the Denver Nuggets who came back from both 3-1 leads against Utah and the Clippers, they beat Dame Time who were the toughest #8 seeded, they beaten the Miami Heat. Let’s also not forget Miami upset the Pacers with Bubble MVP TJ Warren, the #1 seeded Bucks, and the #2 seeded Celtics. Miami had Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, Tyler Herro, Dragic, and Duncan Robinson. Lakers were short handed missing both key players, I don’t to hear that Bubble don’t count crap. The only rings that don’t count are the championships that KD won in golden state.
everyone knows the 2020 one doesn’t count. I respect the other 16 championships but the 2020 season was a joke and the NBA just wanted to gift Lebron another ring.
