  • Visiting Kenya for the second time, We had the opportunity to visit the biggest Open air Food Market in Mombasa Kenya. The vibrate space and people gave us a vibe you don't want to miss! Marikiti market is a thrilling market where you can find great souvenirs
With its archaic walls and iron-rail windows, the finishing and outside look was done to make it stand out in a location that had Swahili form of finishing in most homes. A mast inside the building has a plaque that traces much of the building materials from Bristol, in the United Kingdom.
Special Thanks to Qamili for hosting and connecting us with people on the coastMombasa! please check her page on IG to book your experience should you make plans of visiting Mombasa and beyond

I can see how Kenyan food is influenced by Indian cuisine. A lot of the food in the market that was shown to be eaten by the Indians made me understand finally. Very interesting and educative video.

I lough when West Africans say Kenyan food is bland.
It was funny to see how the Ghanian was over whelmed by the sheer diversity in the market.
Please note that Indians, Arabs, and Europeans are also part of Kenyan diversity

Its Ghanaian by the way and colonialism AND diversity is evident in every African country so stop saying it like it's a sense of pride for you. Who cares?🤣🤣🤣
