It didn't. That valve was the reason the engine wouldn't start, so I replaced both intake valves with new valves. I just practiced cleaning it on the bent valve.
No special tool required. You just need to remove a cover plate on the front and then the spindles just slide out the front allowing you to pull the rocker arms up and out. Take a look at 7:04 in the video where I put them back in, and just do the reverse.
Thanks for the comment. This will be coming up soon actually. I have been away for three weeks. But I will be putting the radiator back on and filling with coolant in the next couple of weeks.
