My rope came from Harbor freight with shrink wrap on it but it was too big. I’m glad I found your video. That is just the way you did work great thank you very much.
I just had someone swap out the steel cable that came on my Badland 2000 pound utility trailer winch with the ATV Synthetic Rope. But the woven wrap that encases the synthetic rope is much too big and tends to ball up on the winch. Is the woven wrap necessary? What purpose does it serve? Can it or maybe half of it be eliminated?
Picked up the 2500 Badlands yesterday, and a synthetic rope (25'). Really appreciate finding your video. Will look for the stopper that you mentioned. How do you like the synthetic rope, after a couple years ?
I made the mistake of not "loading" the synthetic rope on mine and it broke the first time out. Look up a video on how to load the rope properly to avoid my mistake :)
Thank you! Amazon. It was one of the most inexpensive options. But it's not like getting my ATV unstuck has every been a life or death situation, so I didn't feel I needed to break the bank. It's a 50 foot length.

You can also cut off a rubber mallet to make your own stopper!
A later thought.......... Would using electrical Shrink Wrap do the job?

Music makes it difficult to hear you. Any music you use should be at 50% volume level, rule of thumb. Thanks for the info
