@514djk , awesome. And by watching closely, you know that it's about the shaft being vertical and nothing to do with the putter head having straight anything. 3 votes to you.
Funny thing is, I used a level on my window casing and it was plum. But when I held my putter up the way I normally use it, the window jamb was breaking a full cup left to right 😮. Can't wait to play tomorrow to test out the PROPER way to plumb bob
@@514djk, they just don't make houses like they used to. If your putter didn't change the shaft angle as you rotated it from the grip end, it either means you're using a LAB putter or putting with a star picket. Finding vertical is the key.
Welcome aboard. We knit a lot of these, and more, into a golf show which is coming soon to www.golfnation.com in the US. Hope you can put up with us. Thanks for the kind words.
Reply from Kippa: Use dominant eye only, stand in a straight line directly behind the ball to the hole, raise the putter up to cover half the ball on either side and the break will be revealed.
Excellent thank you for the video!
Best explanation of plumb bobing showing how to hold the putter, figure out your dominant eye, and line it up.
It turns out I've been pretending for 40 years. Kippa's a marvel. And it works beautifully. Thanks for the feedback. Phil
Unbelievable! I had no idea my putter has a "straight edge". this has got to be a huge help.

@@GolfBarons Nice! Look forward to it
But how do I know exactly where to stand behind the ball? Do I try to line the shaft up with the cup first? Both eyes open?

@@GolfBaronsif you stand directly behind the ball in line with the hole EVERY putt will be EXACTLY the same read of dead straight
Do i apply the same technique from behind the flag?
You can if you need to or to double-check, but we're all for speeding up the game. If you have to, maybe do it while others are putting.
Very good, except for the continuous giggling.
Thanks for the comment. It reflected the mood of the day. Philbert finds Kippa continuously amusing for some reason.
This dude in the blue is a clown
@@andrewturei8577 , sure is. We're all sick of him, including me, and I'm him. As long as you learned something.
