People keep saying it's an ugly car, but I have this baby and drive it to work everyday, gets me there everytime. Yes there is little leg room in the back, but I almost never have anyone back there.
I love it, screw the haters! It's the best thing in the world for carving up challenging mountain passes and rugged Canyon roads off the beaten path, if you really want to enjoy nature and go off road while doing it, this is quite fun, and no I do not think Jeeps are very fun, they beat up their passengers way too much. This thing handles amazing, Jeeps do not handle well, case closed. honestly I think the reason people don't like it is because either they can't afford it or they don't like going outside...or both.
CurbsideUnderwood - I totally agree, oozes class and style. And I can afford it. Get mine next week. Great position on the road, and shows fun is not just for the young. Makes me smile.
I'm going to go against the crowd here... I think if I had to choose one car to live with year-round, it'd be this one- and I don't even like SUVs. Being a Land Rover it can easily handle New England winters... plus the top can go down in the summer (once you've owned a convertible it's kinda hard not to have one), and it's still relatively carlike compared to something like a Wrangler... if I had $50 grand to spend on a car, I'd definitely be looking at this.
This would be a more practical vehicle for most wrangler owners being that most never go offroad, and fewer need that much capability when they do. Neither are known for reliability, but this will drive better, get better mpg, and be more luxurious. Fully loaded wranglers do get pretty pricey too.
Yes exactly, let those kids who are still living in mother's basement keep enjoying their Honda Civics while real people go out and enjoy nature off road with a convertible that handles a hell of a lot better than a Jeep!

Hilton HA!, I have been saying that since I first saw one. It's funny, they should have sent this design to VW for them to put Rabbit 🐰 on it. It would have sold like crazy just by changing the name brand and name on it. I'm actually liking it more as I type ,if it was VW Rabbit. Lol 😆
The wranglers boxy styling has been almost exactly the same since the time before SUVs existed. plus they always have a roll cage so it still somewhat looks like it has a roof.
OH...MY...GOD(said slowly while making an ugly face)...this may be the first time i have ever watched a MW video and didnt pay any attention to any stat...i just kept staring in disbelief...well i did say the Escalade would never sell but poor people love those things so maybe RR will be the company to put an Evoque in every driveway

The loan on our 2011 Murano Cross Cab is almost up !! We are going to check this baby out as soon as our local dealer gets them in!
How did you open the roof without pressing the button inside? I mean is it possible to do it remotely?

I liked the concept years ago when I saw it, a convertible that rides higher than a skateboard. Execution not so much.
