Man United have just released their NEW 23/24 AWAY shirt and it's caused a stir! Some fans LOVE IT and some HATE IT... In this video I'm gonna do a bit of an unboxing and try on, as well as share my thoughts on this shirt in comparison to some classic's from the 90s...
The 90s was class as it was sandwiched between the gritty 80s and the glamorous 00s - it gave us the perfect blend of football... We had the pleasure of watching incredible talent on the pitch, but also the incredibly unique characters we just don't see in the modern game... "CAN WE NOT KNOCK IT!?" ...join me on this journey down 90s memory lane, as I take a look back at everything this decade had to offer!
I'll be uploading 10+ minute feature videos EVERY SUNDAY, such as "90s Goalkeepers were a different breed" and "Every 90s kid remembers - CORINTHIAN FIGURES" - as well as smaller "shorts" ... "reels" ... whatever we're calling them these days - throughout the week! 😁

The thing that infuriates me about this kit is.. The player version has the sponsor printed onto the fabric, like a normal kit. The fan version has the huge print on the front and the sleeve. Just seems like a cheap way to make an expensive shirt.
I get what you’re saying, seems quite strange as they didn’t do that on the home replica, so why they gotta put a box on the away 🤷🏻♂️
what's with the box that interrupts the stripes in middle of the kit for the sponsors like it's 2010s anyway? When kits like Newcastle's and Brentford's doesn't need one.

13:05 I bought that black shirt back in 1998. I bought it when it was being sold at JJB Sports as a training kit (which I’m sure it was supposed to be and was used for) but ended up being used against Arsenal that year.
You know what! I remember as a kid the intrigue of that kit and it being originally as a training kit 👍🏾 well remembered 😊👏🏽
@@RysFootyParadise I believe the white third kit the following season was also a training kit which made one appearance in the Charity Shield as the actual away kit hasn’t been released yet (also against Arsenal) and then disappeared from view, only to return the next season as the away kit with a new sponsor for some reason?!

Authentic players style is the way to go for this kit. The replica as shown in the video looks terrible mainly because of that ugly box patch around the TeamViewer and DXC. The players kit doesn't have that and looks miles better.
Did you get that Grey United Beckham #24 shirt off eBay? Btw the shirt is very interesting, I’m waiting for the Third shirt long sleeve when it drops next month
Not off eBay but a questionable source 🤣 well spotted 👍🏾 yeah I know most are preferring the 3rd this season with the devil badge but it’s a bit too similar to last seasons away for me

Just got this authentic shirt from DH .. ordered XL but I should have ordered XXl its too small😅 did you find the material a bit see through on your white 3rd from DH?
Not really mate, was all good, but deffo XXL on authentic, fit proper tight

This away shirt is an official fan version - I do have a review on a “fake” third shirt though 😊👍🏾

Does it feel loose enough for you? I'm a bigger guy so I'm concerned about it fitting tight. Last years was perfect fit wise.
i would probably wear this if it didn’t have a sponsor, must be a way to remove them & it’d look much cleaner if the lines go all the way down, if they don’t then there wasn’t a reason to make it in a rectangle like they did
Some teams do release shirts without the sponsor like Brentford, shame United don’t :(

@@hanifasyraff6885 this one is the replica in large but I’ve heard the authentic is a bit more “fitted” like the players wear them so I guess it depends how confident you are in your body 🤣 I’m a bit chubby at the mo so would be tempted to go XL in long sleeve
