They disgraced the 442 name putting it on these cars. All show no go. Late 70s cars were all graphics and appearance packages. No real performance cars left by 77. 1974 SD455 Trans Am is the last of the real muscle cars!!!
Love or hate them cars. Good thing is these motors can be EASILY upgraded to performance engines. But you'll be surprised on the performance these stock 455 cars had.
Saw a 76 here the other day. Red and white, 260, 5 speed. Quite a unique car. I like this color combo more though.
💛💛💛
Beautiful. Looks just like the Olds Dale Earnhardt drove in the 1979 Daytona 500, his rookie year.
I can see this is from 5 years ago but can anyone tell me how much somthing like this would sell for?

Still kind of a cool car though. Never seen a 77 442 before

Actually there were suspension upgrades from the normal cutlass on these.
There was no keeping the 4-4-2 down even as our lives were becoming a freak show!
Did he ever say what engine?
Thanks for that.
At least it is four barrel. I don't think the 455 was available by 77.
@@michaelwhite2823 No. Pretty sure 403 was the biggest one in 77. That's what mine has.
@@Jsalrulz Yup. You are right. 76 last year.
How much did this go for? Had this car in high school
