- We try a relay race on BeamNG Drive, as we build some 2wd and race on a technical hill climb stage and race in teams to see who can be victorious.

Blazer's uphill run at 21:21 was very Hollywood, I don't think they were driving in a straight line anywhere on the entire ascent 😅
As a suggestion, it should have been four legs: A,up the mountain, B down, B Up, A down. That way both drivers on each team have one pass at each path, as well as the concentration test of waiting for the teammate to activate them. (commenting as of 5m8s of video)
That would be an hour long video, which would take a lot more to film considering all the preparations, possible retakes and edits. So don't really that as something that will happen, but it's not outside the realm of possibility.
It wouldn't really work in this 'tournament' format, but I think the ultimate version of 'Hill-climb Relay' races would be three man teams, A up, B down, C up, A down, B up, C down, that way all drivers run both ways, but nobody runs twice in a row.
The formula used in the video would work better on a circuit style track.
Teams of four would be fun too
Perhaps if the relay was divided so as each leg covers a certain part of the course (tarmac, off-road, freeway, etc.)

Really fun tournament, I've always loved that section of road since it got added to BeamNG. Would love to see a multilap race around the Small Island, I feel like that super tight road would lead to a lot of chaos.
Blue team probably was the overall fastest one, but they had some unimaginable bad luck
I clearly cant learn from my mistakes, by crashing into the same spot every run down the hill.

Blue team were a threat most of the race, but tended to lose the lead towards the tail end. Pink hung in there, had the most tendency to fall behind, but still proven to be a challenge. Amy definitely fought for that position there. That van was pushed beyond the limit. Green were the daredevils. Having that slight edge always through an through. Orange are just dominant.

Love how Jowo at the end race was using the gutters Initial D style to get around faster lmao
the reason why blazer was faster on that uphill ice section was because he knew keeping it sideways is better than correcting yourself and then slowing down doing it, especially when in a RWD car.
Blazer is maybe the most fun to watch of this lot. What a race.
This was enjoyable to watch. Granted I am particularly biased towards GTA 5 stuff it doesn't really matter when the graphics and physics are awesome and we have a commentator like Alex. My life is complete..... for the most part.
Amy, you are one _heck_ of a driver. I couldn't have gotten that minivan halfway down that mountain, let alone caught up to a touring car with it.
Tip for beam I found recently, press alt+U and all UI is hidden, makes freecam look nicer
I think what made blazer so fast on the ice is his good drifting ability which made it so he could have good turn in compared to trying not to drift which made you lose a lot of turn

Hey Alex, when using the free camera stay above the cars and not in front or behind the cars. We all miss out on so many things happening, and when there's three cars racing, do not follow the leader if the leader is alone and the two other cars are trying to overtake each other. No one cares about the leader in this case, it's the chase of second place that's interesting.

We need more multiplayer serious race, a lot of viewers are thinking this is a crash simulator
My thought was, survive the flood relay race edition so going up the mountain you are racing each other and the flood and if it is possible to have the flood water go back down and the next 2 race each other as fast as possible without going into the water

Suggestion: crash relay
Use the figure 8 track with the elevated cross in the middle.
Each team is 2 cars. The first car goes around the figure 8 for one lap. Meanwhile, the second car lines up with the start line.
The second car may only start its lap after its rear bumper has been touched by the front bumper of the first car and it is been moving.
Once the second car is on its lap, the first car re-aligns for the next relay crash-bump that has the same requirement (car must be rolling from the bumper-contact before you may accelerate).
The race is multiple rounds. Through the crashes, the bumpers are going to get worse for every relay.
First to X rounds wins.

I would have picked sbr, naturally aspirated, with very short geared 7dct. Its insane off the line and handle really good
It's a shame that when you race American cars you get these wobbly bubbling things and not what was really out there. There was some fine driving cars made in the US back then. Some junk as well but that can be said in Europe as well.

Toyota MR2’s are referred to by lots of people as a Mister 2. It’s only right that MR Turbo is given the same treatment.
