Hello, fellow Canadian! It never even occurred to me that's what you might be, as I think every other channel I subscribe to is either American or British. Bravo! A fine job, as always. I used to live in Saskatchewan, & some of the terrain in the far south is actually similar to that in this movie. 🍁
Great review. Another movie saw when I was younger. They don't show stuff like this on broadcast T.V. anymore. Grew up watching all kinds of great films like this on T.V. Thanks again. I am also Canadian- live in Ontario.
Honestly could not tell, I assumed you were from the Midwest United States. Sounds the same as people around where I live. Yeah, Arizona really does not make a good Canada to me. Another interesting film I have not seen, I will be glad to check it out. Keep up the good work, Your channel really should be more popular I believe.
It looks like there are a few uploads of the movie on UA-cam right now. Not the best picture quality, but it's an easy way to try it out. And thank you, I very much appreciate everyone that has stumbled across my channel.
I very much enjoyed your review. I saw this film long ago and I remember enjoying it, but I don't remember many of the details. Your video has made me want to watch it again.
Hey there, I have a question Should movies get re-rated by the MPAA ? One example is that Airplane is a 1980s PG but by today's standards it would be a R rated movie.
I think that would probably be a good idea. For myself, I typically will do a little research on a movie's content before watching, but I know many people just go based off the rating. And PG was a pretty big catch-all before the days of PG-13 at least. In Canada, Airplane is rated 14A, but that rating I sometimes find misleading as well. That seems to cover everything from more violent PG-13 films to pretty hard R-rated movies. Most recently, I've noticed many movies rated R in the U.S. are designated PG in Canada, regardless of the amount of profanity. So society's standards don't seem to be improving. I utilize Plugged In reviews or the IMDB Parent's Guide a good deal as I've learned the rating system in both countries is quite skewed.
