Advice from an IT engineer + former apple employee. Do not use the screen protector or the keyboard cover. Apple designs their devices with very precise measurements. Using those covers can actually cause increased pressure on the hinge. Seen it a bunch of times at the apple store.
Suggestion for you steph ran. Instead of left and right class use more meaningful class name like logo and nav-links. And for more control on icons wrap them inside span tag. There is too much white space on the left and right side of your hero section :)
one more thing :) Use bem naming convention The idea of bem is to think web page as a bunch of blocks , block contain element that can be modify. and remove the font weight varients that you are not using in website in webite becasue browser send seperate req for each varient.

Hello! I may get accepted in a job for coding and it will be my first big girl step into the coding world. I need some tips and advice for this new area for me and your videos are really nice and comforting! Any tips and advice would be great, thank you!
i got both off fb marketplace but i thiiiink these are the models!! :)) - monitor - amzn.to/48wRQXH - super sturdy monitor but i think you should buy secondhand if you can! it’s def more worth it especially since lots of ppl just don’t need their monitors so there’s usually nothing functionally wrong with it! - desk - amzn.to/4hGQo9A ps for full transparency, these are affiliate links! also i use these at home but i’m sure there are better options haha, just got these bc they were on fb marketplace!
what is it like to code? How do you code? is there a lot of math problems and science terms involved? can anyone who are beginners able to code with no experience? what degree do you need to be a software engineer? I want to know how to become a software engineer! I am bad at math and science, will I still learn how to code and do well at it and not to mess anything up?!
take everything i say with a grain of salt because i definitely still consider myself beginner/intermediate, but here are my thoughts! what is it like to code? -> it’s honestly a lot of fun! it’s like creating something out of nothing, just you and your keyboard! how do you code? -> coding is like writing instructions for a computer to follow. you use a programming language (like python, javascript, etc.) to tell it what to do. and eventually you can build big and complex things with your code! is there a lot of math problems and science terms involved? -> every field has its own jargon, and computer science is no different! math and computer science are definitely connected, especially in areas like data structures & algorithms, but not all coding roles need advanced math. many people start coding with very basic math skills and learn as they go! can anyone who are beginners able to code with no experience? -> absolutely! i wrote my first line of code just a couple of years ago and have been learning ever since! you don’t need to know everything to start - just a willingness to learn :) what degree do you need to be a software engineer? -> most companies prefer a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, but honestly, it’s not the only way in. many people get into tech through self-study, bootcamps, or unrelated degrees - what matters most are the skills you can show. i do think rn though, since the job market’s so bad, having a degree helps! final advice: -> you can do it! the first step is to believe in yourself and start small. there are so many free resources out there to help you, like freecodecamp, the odin project, or youtube channels like webdevsimplified and bro code. even if you’re not great at math or science now, those are skills you can learn along the way! consistency and practice are key - start small, and don’t give up :) you got this!❤️
yes it's this one! :) amzn.to/48wRQXH i got this off fb marketplace! it's a super sturdy monitor but v expensive so i recommend buying it secondhand if you can! def more worth it especially since lots of ppl just don’t need their monitors so there’s usually nothing functionally wrong with it :) just a heads-up: this is an affiliate link, so i may earn a small commission if you decide to purchase! (although i think this specific one might be unavailable on amazon rn...)
yesss! it's this one! amzn.to/48wRQXH i got this off fb marketplace though so it was way cheaper! i think buying monitors secondhand is way more worth :')) also just a heads-up for the link! it's an affiliate link so i may earn a commission if you get it! (again, i think buying monitors used is better!)
thank u for the suggestion!! you're right.. i thought it'd be cool to have a lil "comments section" on the site as well but emailing probs makes more sense!
this is my case! (the new one lol) amzn.to/4h9yQ4I also just a heads up for transparency that the link is an affiliate links so i may get a small commission if you get it!

what is it like to code?
-> absolutely! i wrote my first line of code just a couple of years ago and have been learning ever since! you don’t need to know everything to start - just a willingness to learn :)
what degree do you need to be a software engineer?
-> most companies prefer a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, but honestly, it’s not the only way in. many people get into tech through self-study, bootcamps, or unrelated degrees - what matters most are the skills you can show. i do think rn though, since the job market’s so bad, having a degree helps!
final advice:
-> you can do it! the first step is to believe in yourself and start small. there are so many free resources out there to help you, like freecodecamp, the odin project, or youtube channels like webdevsimplified and bro code. even if you’re not great at math or science now, those are skills you can learn along the way! consistency and practice are key - start small, and don’t give up :) you got this!❤️
@@stephranaway THANK YOU SO MUCH THIS RESPONS
what about the monitor please any info about it ?
yes it's this one! :)
amzn.to/48wRQXH
i got this off fb marketplace! it's a super sturdy monitor but v expensive so i recommend buying it secondhand if you can! def more worth it especially since lots of ppl just don’t need their monitors so there’s usually nothing functionally wrong with it :)
just a heads-up: this is an affiliate link, so i may earn a small commission if you decide to purchase! (although i think this specific one might be unavailable on amazon rn...)
@@stephranaway ok thanks u my lady

You too!😁❤️

Wow, website looks great! You could just let people email you instead of coding a leave a message area, just an idea.
thank u for the suggestion!! you're right.. i thought it'd be cool to have a lil "comments section" on the site as well but emailing probs makes more sense!
where can i get a mac case like yours?
this is my case! (the new one lol) amzn.to/4h9yQ4I
also just a heads up for transparency that the link is an affiliate links so i may get a small commission if you get it!
some other comments have been saying to NOT use the keyboard cover/screen protector though as it may damage the laptop!
