@@王小明-c9f this is one of my personal favorites too, not quite at the top. But do visit my playlist section. “My Personal Favorites” has lots of good stuff. And Animenz of course.
Wonderful! I love this arrangement so much because it's fantastically Animenz - so many gratuitous jumps and runs (but that makes it so fun and I'd miss them if they were gone), while balancing that out with quiet & slower which yield a moving contrast. You were absolutely shredding on this one and I think your rythm improved here vs the videos before it; great job!
@@boredPianoAdv Speed check is usually the very last step. This is one of the most satisfying-to-play Animenz pieces. The suicide octaves are a great show off. Haha.
@@RichardYangPiano I think the finale is the best show off, but the suicide octaves come close, esp. when the listener has an idea of how inconsistent octaves can be. What's your success rate on them?
Gonna do some classical first and seriously read music theory to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of Animenz' and other composers works. . Maybe try some Bach to improve my left hand. Has anybody got any recommendations on pieces to improve the fluidity of the left hand?
@@deat3321 Just keep playing new things, everything learned is a new experience gained. The theory stuff will come naturally. You don’t really need to separately learn it. One day, all your theory stuff will become apparent just by you feeling your hand.
@@deat3321 Bach won’t help you with Animenz by the way. Completely different stuff. One of the best things about Animenz arrangements is the variety of styles, which you can’t learn by just playing one genre of music. I can say, having played through so many Animenz pieces, even my play got improved. Because I have now learned new varieties of different passages, etc.
Great job man. U have great inspiration for me to keep praciticing lol. Is this version is straight from the animenz book? If it is, how did u manage to put the sheets on ur ipad? Ty! 🎉
@@ethanho9626 I purchased all of his arrangements on his site. I also have the earlier versions from what was able to gather. So I’ve got everything. This version is the same as the book, except I did the suicide octaves from the original 2016 version.
@RichardYangPiano oh ok ty for the info. I'm gonna have to photocopy bc the book is almost impossible to open to read clearly on the piano 😅. Looking forward to the lesson!
Animenz really released all of his energy in Snow Halation. The left hand looked fairly straight forward, but when cooperating with the right hand, it became harder to grasp the right timing. I only finished the first 2 pages of the piece.
I see you hit the first wall on the 32nd run. Haha. That’s a pretty “visual” part. You want to look at your hands there. Getting through it successfully a couple of times is all it takes for you to be convinced on how to play this section.
@@raidgens8839 I played Rach 2 with orchestra way back. Rach 3 I once learned Mov 1 but never performed. I played some Mov 3 just for fun. But it was never performance ready.

I remember this from a WIP you did a while ago. It sounds great! I like how you didn’t rush it for release.
