The Retekess V115 is a great little performer for the money indeed! The mp3 player/recorder is a great feature in my opinion as I enjoy recording music from the line in jack! It has AM radio and an FM stereo receiver via headphones! Shortwave reception is average I would say. It is a recommended buy I would say! Thank you, Bestestimes Reborn...
I have had one for almost 2 yrs. Like you say it's not the best for SW but for the local AM/FM stations it's fine and has excellent sound from the built in speaker. The other functions are a bonus at such a price point.
You can record from the microphone, whatever radio mode is playing, or plugged into the input jack. You can even access the TF card like a USB drive to copy music or files. I made a simple stand by bending some plexi with the heat gun, and I leave it on the windowsill wherethe long wire antenna feed is.
I have the same one under the Tivdio brand. It catches only 2 stations on Fm does not catch anything on sw and mw but if I press 0 then that station comes clearly on the speaker. Anyway to solve this?
The Retekess V-115 is most likely one of the most popular radios on the market today hands down! My favorite feature is the "Aux In" because of the recording quality indeed!
hi, i bought v115 a few days ago. radio is good but when I put sd card screen says WAITING... 1 seconds than screen says CAN NOT FIND DEVICE. I used 2gb and 16gb sd cards. both of them is working on laptop and on my dslr camera. What can I do? please send me a solution
The screen on my unit has gone blank. It lights up, but no textual info shows. It's too good to toss out, but too hard to use without the screen working and telling where you are with freqs and mp3 playbacks. If anyone knows a hack for jolting the screen back into functioning, post it here. ...greatly appreciate any suggestions....
i have one bought 3+4 years ago The older as given to osmeone who lied i very much. Indrwd the newer was a bit worse than the older Strong internal noise in all bands kills Medium waves shortwaves and nearly FM i use it only as mp3 player
1. Tune to the station you want to store. 2. Press and hold *5* until CHxx is blinking. 3. Type the number of the channel you want to store the station. 4. Press *Play/Pause* 2 times. Done.
@@SandraB1000 You are welcome. To access a station just type the number you would like access. e.g. Type *47* and wait a second until the radio automatically jumps there. To speed it a bit up, press *Pause/Play* after typing the number of the storage place you want to access. If you have more questions about the V115, feel free to ask me.
Ordered one today. Should arrive in a couple of months. 😀

if you press the play/pause button, it will mute the radio audio, so you don't need to turn it off. Or it will start or pause the music file.

How do you save a station to the numbers and then how to access the station with the numbers?
With this radio it seems to be only auto scan. Where the radio automatically stores them.
1. Tune to the station you want to store.
2. Press and hold *5* until CHxx is blinking.
3. Type the number of the channel you want to store the station.
4. Press *Play/Pause* 2 times.
Done.
