Sounds like central lock up in New Orleans. It's psychological torture. If it's summertime, they will have it freezing cold in there. Knowing if you get arrested in The summertime you will probably have on a T shirt and shorts. They got you in there freezing. 30 or 40 dudes in one cell. The deputies taking all day to get you booked. Dudes in the holding cell smoking crack. By the time you finally do get booked you've lost all sense of time. You don't know how long you've been there or what time it is and all you want to do is get taken to the back and get to a bunk. I only been back there 3 times and never for more than a day but every time, it was the same process in central lock up.
If you get caught selling or for distribution. You will be out with drug addicts and they start throwing up and screaming all that stuff they did while drugs comes back to there mind everything they wanted to escape from is back on there mind so they are sick shacking throwing up and also depressed. And you see it all!
Don't do crimes or don't get caught, point blank. Wat he thought? Steaks , lobsters n water beds??

yeah cuz its far less crowded then queens Brooklyn or Bronx so not only are you usually out of the bookings within 24 hours but if you have to do a skid bid there the visitation process takes only a quarter of the time compared to rikers

I got arrested back in 09 during the time of the Puerto Rican parade me and my cousin and his man was in the patty wagon and they drove around and filled that whole thing up before they brought us to the 46th precinct. Central Bookins was full when we got there the first time. End up spending the night at the 49th precinct. Thankfully I didn’t see the island. when we went back to central Bookings the next day they let us go

They ended up taking him to the hospital. he went back to the precinct to try to get his medicine back and they said we don’t care we’re not giving it to you go back to the hospital.
