University of Florida Alma Mater

This is the Alma Mater of the University of Florida. It was composed in 1930 be Milton L. Yeats. Little known fact, while the 1st verse of the Alma mater is sung before and after football games, a 2nd verse does exist.

A most beautiful alma mater song. I am always moved when I hear it. I went to Gator games throughout my childhood and although I no longer follow Gator sports closely while living in Europe I still sing the lyrics to my young son. Kern Alexander

I have never heard the second verse. I know every word to the first half because we sing at beginning of every game and at the end provided we win. I wish they would add that second half of the song it is even more beautiful than the first.
