After I came back to the church after living in mortal sin for 15 years. It felt like my soul was very damaged and going to confession and holy communion it felt like it truly healed my soul.
Ohh my gosh that’s so right lots of times there is chaos before Mass especially with my youngest. It’s better now though. I used to end up shouting to get into the car and not enjoying mass as was so stressed. I confessed it in confession and my priest said about a third of the angels falling and causing havoc. He told me to have holy water in my house and use it on all the rooms every praying a Hail Mary now and then and to say the St Michael archangel prayer daily. It’s helped massively! No big shouting and tantrums before Mass since 😊

Homebound. When the priest comes once a week to give me communion...on the tongue!...it is the most important thing i do all week, the High point of my week. He also gives me confession for which I am verry, verry, graitful, and the sacrament of the sick! Please pray for us that I may always be able to receive the 3 sacraments weekly and the young priest learns English fluently! It was so irreverent. I actually just remarked about that here in the comments myself. I've never heard of or listened to this priest before but it came up in my UA-cam feed. I was going to turn it off after seeing how haphazardly he crossed himself. What a turn off. What a terrible example. I'm listening to the talk to see what else he does and says. But his opening prayers were odd also. He skipped a few words of the Hail Mary and just let the congregation say them. And he never said amen at the end of his various prayers and readings.... very odd.
Jesus said with every communion for 5 minutes rest in His Heart throbbed with LOVE, and say, "Thank You my Belovid, You live in me, and I live in You!" You will see the sweetness, and the consolation you will give Me. Ask of Me in the 5th minute the conversion of 1000 sinners,,(especially the hardened of hearts).
You need to try to pursue annulment post death of your ex husband. Explore if the Church allows for this somehow. In the meantime, go to confession. You will receive forgiveness. 🙏🏻 🤍🌹

Regardless of the value of what he says about the topic, it is extremely ironic that he speaks about people taking the eucharist for granted because he is taking the signing of the cross on himself for granted! He doesn't even know how to reverently and properly cross himself.

The Catholic faith is a prescribed way provided by God to live a life of faith on earth that will help you get to heaven. It is guidance. There is the reading of scripture, the eucharist and other sacrements, daily prayer and tradition handed down through the ages. There is also the Holy Spirit, a helper for the church. There are many graves, blessings i.e. the treasures of heaven that God will give to us by following this prescribed way. These graces and blessings to help us to live out the Christian life here. They help us to choose Him and His ways, vs. choosing the evil path. Being an active, devout Catholic is choosing to live this prescribed way. It is a blessing!!! If you are not Catholic, God is with you! God is everywhere. He is after you and for you! He will be guiding you too, to choose Him. It will look different from the Catholic way. His house has many rooms. However, to whom much is given, much is required--catholics have to stay true to the knowledge they have been given. Please don't bash Catholics for trying follow the truth that has been revealed to them. Follow your own path to God. I respect that God has a path for those who are not Catholic and that way looks a little different, based on the knowledge and truth revealed them. In the end, we all must trust in His grave and mercy, no matter what. Every Christian denomination, or evangelical congregation has some of the truth, but catholicism has the whole truth!!!
