YOOOO i went to Dollywood a bunch when i was younger - almost every year until i got to high school - and we did go in 2007 when VT was there! Hardly remember anything since i was so young, all i remember is the Pirates shooting confetti into the crowd. Have a few pictures of some areas of the park, no footage. So glad this is found!

Fun fact: Those puppets were built by Puppet Heap who have since become the company that builds new Muppet characters as well as building a Bulldozer puppet for Sesame Street.
This is so awesome,I remember going to DollyWood with my mom when I was six years old and remember watching this show,it was a blast,probably the biggest highlight of my DollyWood experience

This is kinda reminding me of the VeggieTales Show? -Veggies having some kind of conflict until a character remembers a story -Pa narrating (it was usually Pa or Archie in TVS) -Short songs except the last one abt the lesson -"That’s your cue" and other little stage bloopers I wonder if Phil had these actual live shows in mind when writing about the Veggies on stage

@@johnmarkee3857 Eh, I think they actually had separate costumes made specifically for Dollywood and SDC. Bob’s costume looks different than the ones in the tours
@@321Blender If that's the case, then it's interesting to think that at one point there could've been three different costumes for Bob & Larry. The latter two were probably destroyed though once both parks stopped running their shows (if Silver Dollar City even still used the costumes for their second show).
They made sherlock holmes too!? I didn't know that, all i know is that they did is rack shack and benny, king george and the ducky, and this. But sure didn't know they did sherlock holmes and the golden ruler. You got any information about it or how you find that information?
@@chacedubose6398 No, they didn't do a Sheerluck puppet show. They just screened Sheerluck Holmes and Bad Apple around the time those episodes were coming out
@@chacedubose6398 I was there when it happened. They even had a veggietales themed kiddie roller coaster. The screen was set up outside, along with Clifford live set up in another part of the park. They had some veggietales trivia questions playing on the screen before the showtime started.
This seems to indicate two versions of the same show: One that uses the VT Live Bob & Larry costumes and one that doesn't (likely due to them being used for the touring show at the time). The close up scenes are probably from a later date when there wasn't a tour happening at the time.

Me too. The clips I remember were of Good Morning George (with Nezzer now saying 'you can't, ha!') and Stand.

I wouldn't be surprised. He said he had the "Veggies on stage" idea for about 15 years when he was approached for it in 2018
