I was raped anally by an ex. We were having consensual vaginal intercourse. But then i saw the lube out. And asked what that was about. Thats when he just shoved it in and raped me anally. It hurt so badly. I couldn’t get him off of me. I was bucking around like bull, screaming for him to stop. I then decided to roll to the side and we both fell off the bed. I was on floor crying, yelling “what did you do? Why did you do that?” He just looked at me and said “you are so ugly” and walked out. I got lucky because he ended up passing away a year later. He abused me in every way possible. And he had a hold on me. I didnt see him after that day. But I actually started talking to him a few months before he died. Im glad I was able to talk about it. Rape is horrible. I never thought I’d be raped. And in such a painful way.
To all the fellow rape survivors out there… you are not alone. Talking about it helped me. I don’t have any hate towards him. I just feel nothing. I’m not wasting another second being angry or depressed because of him.

I applaud the bravery of all those women who stood up in court, and went through everything he did to them. I can't imagine how difficult and embarrassing that was, describing in graphic detail, the humiliating acts he forced upon them. I hope each and every one of those women, receives lifelong counselling in the aftermath💗bless them all.

I've devoured far too many horrific stories, cases, videos etc of heinous acts, torture, killing, rape, murder, beheadings, you name it, I've run the gammit on it. Morbid curiosity and fascination by the unfathomable.
You might argue I've become desensitized to such material, people, stories, etc. This case, this video, the POS documented... I'm left disgusted, sick to my stomach, furious and believe it or not, physically emotional.
I want to extend a huge amount of respect to the narrator and curator of this channel for the way in which this story was produced and outlined. Tremendously executed with such a genuine disdain for this little person inside of the grown me who he is, and the compassion, sympathy and conscientious wherewithal towards the victims of the terror that unfolded over the course of the 17 documented years of his heinous (a word that barely does justice). I wholeheartedly agree that there's no way in hell this began in his mid to late twenties.
I was groomed and abused by a much older man when I was barely 18, and I'm grateful he wasn't a sadistic fuck, but merely a pedophile drug addict.
How untterly heartbreaking to think of the women's lives (families and children's included) that have been forever destroyed. As a man, as someone who was raised by a woman, who by no conscious decision, have only dated feminists who largely come from male trauma (sexual and otherwise), I am sick to my stomach at the notion that we only know of these monsters because they've been caught. As said, just how many like him exist, and continue to fly under life's radar.
Condolences to all affected by this evil monster, and to the viewers who relate. 😪

This is one of the most disturbing and horrifying cases I have ever come across. David Carrick is a despicable, evil monster who used his position of power to terrorize and brutalize women for almost two decades. The level of sadism and brutality he displayed is beyond comprehension. It's sickening to think about the suffering and trauma he inflicted on his victims. The fact that he was able to get away with his crimes for so long is a clear indication of failures within the system. The survivors who had the courage to come forward and speak out against this abuser deserve nothing but respect and admiration. Justice has been served with the life sentence, but it will never erase the pain and suffering he caused. David Carrick is a disgrace to humanity, and I hope the remainder of his days are filled with the same fear and torment he inflicted on others. He is a vile, depraved individual who deserves no sympathy or mercy.

Sadism refers to deriving pleasure, especially sexual gratification, from inflicting pain, suffering, or humiliation on others. the sad thing is this happens so often especially with people of power, cops all over are protected and people are too scared to bring it to light because they are harassed or told it didn't happen. People like this who use their positions like this are pure evil, and anyone who keeps their co-workers safe should be punished. How can we trust the people who are supposed to protect us, when they look the other way because their fellow pig is a monster

Another great and detailed video on an infamous case in the UK thank you (Evil Among Us) I can’t wait to see the next one real soon.
P.S. if I had to make a guess of which case is next or the one after it would be one of the three you mentioned in the beginning of your last video that of Martin Bryant, Michael Ryan and Andrei Chikatilo in my opinion it probably would be the latter and the video on him will likely be almost or even over two hours long because of the detail you will go into not only him but also all of his 53+ victims between Dec 1978 and Nov 1990 and how the government of the Soviet Union allowed him to get away with his heinous and disgusting crimes for so long.

The reason that yours is one of my favourite channels is because you are a good man.
Your message to the survivors in this case was beautiful and it is not the first time you have done this. You are kind and caring....a good man. Can I add that I mean that in a completely non parasocial way!! 😊

No different here in the US
The reasoning seems to be that they “deserve” to be rehabilitated And not imposing “cruel and unusual punishment”
I have a problem with that
They did Horrible things to people who will Never recover, never be the person they were before!
To me…that means that you Don’t get to cry about Your Treatment
My other complaint is that in the U.S. some states have the death penalty (I’m not a proponent of it) and the Governor can put a ban on the punishment and/or a lot of times the die of Old Age instead of the punishment they weee given by a jury of their peers
That’s No Justice for those who they hurt!

Just because they can apply for parole after serving X amount of years does not mean they will get parole. They are not just released. They will also be under supervised parole for the rest of their lives, one wrong move however small will see them back in prison

Good video about this dreadful man and his criminal career. I think it’s very important to explore the backgrounds of such killers. I'm not "liking" the content or the horrific acts described, I'm giving a thumbs up to the effort you and your channel do to expose these monsters and educate us of these evils some people are capable of. I have a young daughter so videos like these hit me at the core of my heart. I walk away thinking, "what if my little girl......". Their priorities are now twisted beyond recognition, their recruitment now prefers egotistical types and while they won't turn up for burglaries and the like, they'll turn up in force if you dare say something considered thought crime. ... then claim to be understaffed. Personal experience taught me they will lie through their teeth rather than admit they got something wrong. It really is a mess now and I am more wary on seeing a police car now than I am a group of chavs!

This, was truly some of your best work @EAU. You captured the depravity of this demon in human flesh while simultaneously maintaining decorum for his far too numerous victims. It beggars belief that the judge still felt, in the face of such heinous crimes, didn't feel his crimes met the standard for a whole life tarrif and spent far too much time in justifying her reasons for such citing several appelate cases including Everards killer appealing his whole life tarrif. This was yet another travesty of justice and this monster can apply for parole after 30 years. And while he may not live that long, it sends yet another signal to criminals that even with such serious crimes, freedom is still a possibility. He should only leave prison in a wooden box. Another stellar production that is criminally under watched ❤❤❤

I have a lot to say and I'll try to keep it brief. First of all thank you for another incredibly researched and amazing video. You are always always the perfect balance between compassion, reality, and saying things as they are. I, like another subscriber here, cannot understand the maths here. Just as an aside, I've never heard a judge sound more bored when giving a sentence but that's besides the point… 30 sentences served concurrently I suppose is one life sentence, but it still sounds like not enough. Once again, people in positions of authority had the opportunity to stop this Monster and did not. Nothing is done and then all of a sudden everything is done at once. Why did they not stop him after the first complaint? I understand that this man was abused as a child, most of us did not have a perfect childhood, most of us did not have perfect parents. Does that give us any kind of right to abuse other people? Most of us who were abused in one way or another I do not go around feeling entitled and thinking that it's OK for them to do something because someone hurt them. Actually, the opposite is true. We should be more compassionate and more sensitive to other peoples pain.

Hi Naama, hope you are doing well. Firstly thank you for your lovely comment. I agree, the maths gets confusing lots of numbers and life sentences which actually just means one. It should have been back to back sentences. In terms of the judge to be fair that is how they always are very formulaic no emotion. I think that is to avoid any appeals based on them accusing the judge of bias. Or maybe it is just us brits and us being quite reserved. I imagine the enquiry will be very damning there will probably be even more chances where he could have been stopped that were missed. Truly horrific

I know this may offend some people and truly, I love men. I get along great with them. But lately, it’s hard for me to think of men in certain positions of power - police, teacher, clergy - and not wonder if they’re in it for the right reasons. There are just way too many stories. And I realize it’s sometimes correct to say, “she should’ve come forward sooner”. However, why don’t we just teach men not to be rapey and then it won’t be a problem. And THAT starts with other men. Like you. Thanks for speaking up.
