    Just say it, the early 90's took rap from being bad poetry over a long drum solo(quoting a friend from back in the day), to being music, and we can all thank the 80's for inspiring it all.

    Great music. The comparison to contemporary music by Gang Starr, Ice Cube, Public Enemy shows what a creative time it was. Different styles but classics all round.
