    Young people, appreciate this channel, when I was 20 years old there was not this valuable information and much less free.

    Fast on the way and slow on the way down is a good practice as well.

    You said it -(speed reps) they are easy. Since I discovered the power of slowing down I d rather get the MAXIMUM bang for my buck💪

      Totally! I think slow reps are underrated, for sure. Nothing exposes weaknesses like slow reps, and exposing your weakness is exactly what you need to strengthen it.

    I started doing the rings, it’s a difficult journey to get back into shape. I haven’t given up. You are definitely inspiration and the advice is solid. 💪

    Make a video on ring dips progressions and getting more reps please

      Get solid parallel bar dips, practice support hold on rings, hands turned out, progress to ring dip negatives with control and in the end you will get your first ring dip. An amazing movement. Do a support hold or ring dip in front of a mirror with no shirt on and you will see how much your entire upper body is tensing to stabilise yourself on the rings. Definitely needs lots of practice. Keep away from muscular failure so that you can practice a few times per week.

    What would be your suggested rep range targets for someone preferring the slower tempos?

    • @Kboges
      @Kboges  11 годин тому

      Probably just stick to a few reps shy of failure.

    What’s the ideal rep:set ranges for the slow controlled pulls?

    • @Kboges
      @Kboges  25 днів тому +1

      For hypertrophy, maybe a few reps shy of failure will do the trick.

      Hahaha thank you! That's one reason why I love slow reps; they really allow you to dial in your technique.

    Your back arches too far back or not?

    • @Kboges
      @Kboges  26 днів тому +4

      Great question. I'll make more content on this but this is an arched back pull up, so the back is going to arch pretty significantly.

    Unfortunately when I do it slowly I can't do more than 2. Any advice on building up strength to get to more pull-ups ?
