It will definitely be better than a Rubik's brand.any recently released or any decent speed cube will be better than the Rubik's brand.the gamble is that which cube is better than the other one and whether it feel right for you or not.price ranges from 5$ to 60$. The most expensive ones like the gan cubes are very good but very expensive.so I would recommend watching unboxing and reviews from different cubers to get an idea what the cube could feel like.as a you are a beginner cuber,tps(turns per second) and cube quality is not that big of a deal.when you average around 15-16seconds is when cube quality may matter.the most important thing is that whether cube feels right or not.but as you are a beginner, you should focus on efficiency of moves and lookahead.
