    We really appreciate these videos akki ❤️ I’m a foreign medical graduate completed ERPM in Srilanka and waiting for the internship
    Is it better to do USMLE without the internship?

      you are welcome nangi, It depends on what you need, your future goals, It is something personal in my point of view. but if you do USMLE as a fresh grad , you have more chances, but it needs lots of preparation and money, For us, our job in Sri Lanka is the only way to find that. that is why depending on the situation that you are in.

      i suggest you to reach out seniors in your medical school and see how they matched in USA, if you have a good network in your medical school , there is a higher chance in match in USA.

    • @shayamalajayalath6451
      @shayamalajayalath6451 5 місяців тому

      Akki my concern is do they consider our work experience as a doctor or passing steps itself is enough for the MATCH with other observer-ships

    • @dilu_billy
      @dilu_billy  5 місяців тому

      @@shayamalajayalath6451 Not really, fresh out of medical school is the best- for USA. home country experience does not have much value. you should rather go for match early than gain experience in somewhere else.

    USA වල nurse කෙනෙකුට MD එක ගන්න පුළුවන් නේද ? ඇයි ලංකාවේ nurse කෙනෙකුට එහෙම pathway එකක් හදල නැත්තේ ? ලංකාවේ doctor කෙනෙක් හැටියට MBBS එක කරපු කෙනෙක් හැටියට ඔබගේ ඒ ගැන අදහස කුමක් ද ?

    Thank you so much for the video! I had a question. I had a question about which documents to use for "Pathway 1". Specifically, to prove we have a license to practice in Sri Lanka, should we provide a copy of the SLMC registration card? or should we get some form of verification letter from SLMC?
    Also, do you know whether provisional registration certificate (one we get before the internship) is accepted as well?

    • @dilu_billy
      @dilu_billy  9 місяців тому

      no - full registration needed, SLMC certificate for full registration. not the internship one.

    I have made EPIC account.Does that mean ECFMG account?

    • @dilu_billy
      @dilu_billy  Рік тому +2

      ua-cam.com/video/j2wfwCzYiRY/v-deo.htmlsi=PTX3i4_3MnjJtc3S this is how it is done. EPIC is for international usually. (non-US) "If you are pursuing ECFMG Certification and applying for USMLE, you are not required to use EPIC. You will provide your medical education credentials to ECFMG for verification through the ECFMG Certification program. You are welcome to use EPIC to build a portfolio of your medical credentials, if desired, at any time. " this is from ECFMG website. for USMLE you should make an account with ecfmg as shown in the video

    • @dilu_billy
      @dilu_billy  7 місяців тому +1

      nehe, internship is not necessary, these guidelines change every year. it is safe to do an internship just in case. because you cannot go back and do the internship.(possible- but complicated)
