I know the Saarbahn , i live on the french german border 👍🚆🚈🚉

The rolling stock here is the Bombardier FLEXITY Link, with two Kiepe Electric DPU 241 2-level GTO-VVVF inverters each powering four 4LXA1442A 120kW asynchronous traction motors.
it's a shame there is still no cabview for this route
A few years ago we wanted to take the tram train, but the station master in Sarreguemines told us that our SNCF tickets from Sarreguemines to Saarbrücken were not valid on the tram. The ticket office at Thann Gare, the terminus on public holidays for the tram train coming from Mulhouse, sold them to us on a Monday morning. We therefore waited for the SNCF train operated with the magnificent Diesel railcars nicknamed "whale" made by Alstom. Question: does anyone know if the SNCF international ticket is actually not valid on the tram/train? In the SNCF TER "Fiche horaire" relating to the Sarreguemines - Saarbrücken line there were no indications in this regard.
