- Brighton lies on the south coast of England, around 2h south from London. The city is known as a seaside resort and often called the Green capital of Britain. Brighton has a notable graffiti and street art scene and attracts artists from all the UK.
We start our tour (in October 2019) at the Jubilee Clock Tower on North Street. We walk around the Kensington Gardens area which has many smaller shop, cafés and is busy with many activities.
Next we head towards the Royal Pavilion - a palace and one of the main sights of Brighton.
We continue to visit "The Lanes" on this walk while experiencing the local weather from sun to wind and rain in a few minutes. The neighbourhood of the Lanes is more an upmarket restaurant and high-end antiques shops around twisted alleys.
A visit to Brighton also needs a visit to the seaside with the British Airways i360 Viewing Tower.
Our tour continues heading back up the main streets and going West towards Hove, where we end our tour on Palmeira Square.

Thank you very much for posting this video. I spent 5 years in Brighton as a student from 2013 to 2018. I wish I can visit it again but this is impossible since I am an Iraqi nationality and they will never ever grant me visa. Very sad to watch this video. I crossed these roads and shops thousands of times. Brighton you will always be my home. Thanks again

i also used to live in brighton! well, i didnt live there but i just lived sort of close to it. and i would go everyday, i moved to italy when i was 6 years old and havent been in london since then. i hope your able to go though :)
Thank you very much indeed for sharing such a wonderful video of Brighton. I was born and bred there before leaving when I was 21. You visited a lot of my old haunts which was lovely to see again but the best bit was when you were walking on the pebbles with the waves crashing on the shore, such a soothing and calming sound. I have such a lot of memories of Brighton and watching this video has helped me relive them. Thank you so much!!

Brighton is like a second home to me where I spent my youth .whenever I visit England I make sure to visit Brighton. Great town and great brightonions.

MEMORY LANE .You do not realize how nostalgic it can be.My family and i were evacuated from Hove to Hurstpierpoint in 1939 then home to Hove in ‘43.Hove Manor school educated meBrighton’s bars full of navy national servicemen matured me.Thanks again for the look around

Amazing walk in Brighton
Old footage been 25 degrees last how many days and most are wearing big ole coats. Still love this place born and raised Brightonian. See that tall building 10.03 that’s the collage and I could hit that from my back door with a stone, not that I have or would, and not that I could now lol as I moved to Queen’s Park recently. Cool place to live Brighton and it rocks in the summer. 46 years and still alive just. 😂 I love you brighton.

Thank you Henry! The Royal Pavillon is nice during sunshine. That day of the video was mixed autumn weather. "The Lanes" was something that I missed on my first visit to Brighton a few years back and also worth a visit. It's a cool place a surely worth a side trip from London

I lived here for twenty years of my life. I suppose, my adult ???? Life . Oh Brighton . This video shows the innards a bit more . Not just the usual seafront scenario . Look at those streets . OMG I had a ' thing ' with someone who lived on that street . Jeeze, the memories . Seagulls .♡♡♡♡♡ Brighton got its game back , its mojo ; back in the 90s I do believe. Is that shop called 'Timeslip' you see directly ahead from 10:15 still open? I hope so, I've been meaning to go to Brighton and check that out for ages, I'm a Sci-Fi fan and I have heard it is a great DVD shop for that genre. I was gonna go this year actually but due to the pandemic etc, I had to leave it.

Nostalgia. Thank you for taking me back 77 years to when invasion scares by Hitler we were allowed home to Hove ACTUALLY. Loads of white paint now whereas 40’s 50’s everywhere was grimy.Can still remember street scenes though.Thanks for the memories and Hove Manor School where i was educated.I made it.
Love Brighton and neighbouring Hove. Unlike most British costal towns it’s got a great vibe, never dull. (Well, the weather can be though overall the climate isn’t bad). They need to knock down those dreadful soulless 60’s/70’s monstrosities then it would be really beautiful.

A walk in town, or maybe a trip to the beach, this town seems to be having too much fun.
During summer it sure is great in Brighton. This walk in October shows all the weather you can get there - which is rainy like most of the UK.Still love the place for a visit every time. Many creative folks around..

Also no place to lock away bags at the bus station. There are few places I'd like to record another time: Leeds, Exeter and Sheffield -- among smaller towns and North of Scotland. It's a dump. Street sleepers everywhere, tagging on most walls and litter in every street. Worst council imaginable leaving bins unemptied and grid-lock due to bad planning. Couldn't wait to move away having been born there.

I've been to Albania in 2017 and surely was surprised by Tirana - also liked Durrës. When the world situation allows I plan on visiting again on a trip around Southern Europe. We'll see if it's possible next year
People , do not expect too much from Brighton. You will be disappointed. Your soul will feel sold a bit short . Just visit as s bit of an arsehole in for some fun , and you'll do fine . Its a bit shit .
What a boring depressing place. Lived in the UK many years ago. London is the only bearable place. Cosmopolitan with lots of foreigners.
