Good job skid steers are so cheap. You should get one! Until then put your buck rake on. Top link in the lowest hole on the tractor, highest hole on the buck rake. Set it level on the deck and when you lift it, it’ll tip right back. Used to do it all the time in low sheds👍
Multi tasking Tom, stood on the back of the scraper making a phone call, while Luke drives the tractor. Looks like 500,000 subs isn't far away now and very much deserved.
If the keenan body has a wear hole in it. Surely its better to get it plated over now before it gets worse...its great having all this newer kit. But maintenance is worth its weight in gold.
I initially thought of a skid steer but the question then arises of cost verse benefit and you two plus the yard scraper takes a lot of beating. Luke's a very capable man. Respect to both of you and of course your Dad.
yet another great video. you have so many past ones to watch again as well. Just watched the one 9 months ago "Worlds Best Crush" one of my many favorites. Thanks for all your time pulling these together. BC Canada
You are right Tom, we do lov were the farming e be everyday jobs now and then but always look forward to watching the progress on the farm be as well, all on all a great mixture.
Its good to see videos of those everyday jobs like mucking out etc. If you keep doing videos about new tractors or new sheds or new milking parlours it gives the impression that farmers are making loads of money and the truth is the majority of us aren"t
Great vid as always Tom. Something to consider. Growing up on a dairy farm as I did many, mays years ago, I know at this time of year daylight is at a premium to get routine jobs done. As your silage has more moisture this year, secondary fermentation shouldn't be an issue. I've seen on another channel (Gerry 6420) he cuts enough "blocks" of silage with the shear grab for 4 or 5 days then he only uses the bucket on the telehandler to load the silage blocks into mixer. Would save swapping the bucket over to the grab every day. Just a thought.
Excellent video Tom, showing the necessary jobs that enables an efficient farm to tick over. Adding to the discussion re skidsteer- if the cost of one is too prohibitive, maybe look at fitting an A-frame on the back of the International and fabricating a mini buckrake to muck out, so it can be swapped over with the scraper as and when?
Great video as always, Yes definitely vlog the day to day stuff. We can then see what it's really all about. I always find your videos very informative 👍🏻👌🏻
Everyone saying buy a skidsteer can you really justify the price over just doing it the way the farms been doing already for years imo waste of money if isn't broke don't fix it type of deal, great vid Tom keep up the great work.
Tom there’s a rubber seal on the inside of Keenan feeder that stops the meal/minerals getting out like you say Easy enough replace One at each end of the feeder, the one at the front usually goes first
Hi Tom, Watching from farm country in Pennsylvania- I love to watch your videos but I have to admit I sometimes rely on “close captioning” to try to catch everything you say:) You are so energetic and so much fun to watch. I discovered you this past summer and went back to watch all your older videos. Great to see your progress.
Hi Tom, looking forward to 500000 subscribers. May be you can do an update to old videos. How is Lou. And the ugly cow? How is Nigel and the Highland calves? I especially like the videos about the cows. May be you can do an evening walk through the new shed and talk about the cows- Name how old special things how many calves. I would love this . 😊😘
Wondering about the expected highland calves, too. Cows, kalves and even the meaty black beauties are wonderful. And, yes, it eases into the farm-universe to watch cows and watch you and Luke with the ordinary farm jobs
Hey Tom, I sure with I could do that same technique in my house! Take the walls down, scrap out the mess and put the walls back up! Hope you're having a great day! Love from SC! Oh and I love the videos!
Could do with a skid steer. Perrrrfect for mucking out. Get that bale in the shed without rolling it in shite too 😁😁 + loads of other uses and they are great fun to drive.
Please bring back the TP Highland sweatshirt. I get tons of compliments on mine and I want to order another. Also the “Please close the gate” shirts were a huge hit last year.
U must get protection on your PTO shaft😀. Have u considered to buy a Lely collector? The concrete will be very nice. But the prices are really something...
Tom, I would love to see videos on the recent baby calves, including the premature one that Luke calls, “the bossiest baby.” Haha. If it’s a girl, you should name her Queenie. ❤ Your farm is looking amazing! Stay healthy and take time to relax when you can!
If you speak to Keenan they refurbished Keenan and the 340 I think will fit as that is what we a running and we can get that in some pretty small places depending on the operator
So hyped for the Sunday video from the latest TikTok star the legendary ginger guy. Look forward to the videos you mentioned have a great week everybody. Be well Be you
It's interesting that compact and extremely maneuverable skid steers (bobcats etc.) are prevalent on American farms, while tele-handlers (Manitou etc.) seem more prevalent on European farms. Which feels backwards since most American farms are probably more spacious while European farms would tend to be more compact.
Hello from Sunny Scotland. I wanted to call in to your farm shop yesterday but it was going to add an extra bit on my journey from South London to Edinburgh . So will try again when I have more time.
Tom I’m waiting on that new milking video/the beefing video. Would really like to see how your milk production as changed since I’ve been watching you for the past three years
Definitely need a bobcat or something like it I like the look of the jcb one as you can get in and out the side which means the ginger warrior could use it he wouldn’t like getting in and out the front with his knees. Maybe Avant could send out a demo for the winter of there little pivot steer machines they look handy and a lot of the stable yards use them over here in Ireland as they can get them in stables to muck out. Could use it to scrape out etc as well.
Would a garden tractor with a plough be good for pushing up the feed to the cows. It would be small enough to turn around in the feed alley and could park just out of the way of the Keenan. I think it would be a lot less expensive than a robot.
hi tom! could you one day make a video, milking, showing the process (like years ago) and showing your milkshop? do you do cheese? if you don't why not?? Portuguese

Just watched funky farmer video. He doesn't let you talk! Your video are so much better and much much better quality. Awesome Tom!

Remember "Farm Safety" Fix the PTO Guard on the Keenan
Love it when you show regular daily routines. Shows what farming is all about.
Morning Tom. I use a bobcat daily, very useful! We use buckets, a yard scraper and a round bale squeeze on it. So handy!
And I also have the shear grab on my Bobcat.
You can get a front loader adapter for the 3 point so u could put the bucket on the back of the tractor
I love the little everyday job videos
Brilliant video Tom. Love the everyday shows. It's more reality of how a day goes it seems.
I initially thought of a skid steer but the question then arises of cost verse benefit and you two plus the yard scraper takes a lot of beating. Luke's a very capable man. Respect to both of you and of course your Dad.
I love your video’s you are the reason I watch the other UA-cam farmer’s videos. Great video as always

Little dinky is very cute 🐄😊
She is really great 😊
We have a bob cat skid steer and use it to clean sheds and we have a grab for it to put in the silage
Great video Tom hope all is well
Love these videos Showing what a farmer does to keep his farm moving forward is always good to see. Dinky is a beauty. Great job to you and Luke. Xx
another great video of life on a dairy farm; love the little calves
Love to see all aspects of your farm.
Knowing that a farmer wears so many different hats a day in the life video would be perfect!! Much ❤ from Texas!!

Come on Tomas let’s have a video on Luke as much as he’s part of the farm and even other videos on the main store person or person’s that work. 😊😊
More power to you guys
I love these videos Tom, this is the sort of format that attracted me in the first place.
Good sound today! Clear!
You seem to be lucky with Luke, a good worker and gets on with the job.
Yep, deffo prefer the day-day stuff as much as the new stuff is cool.
Great vlog. Looking forward to seeing calves. One of my fav things. Ta.

I liked this style of video. Hope you have a nice weekend. Luke is a cracking addition to the Pemberton Farm.
You need a power box /link box for the calving pen
Hi Tom you should make small bucket that goes on loader to scrap out and reduce the forking👍

Thank Tammy! 😊
You definitely need a smaller loader, something like a small Kramer allrad would get in all the sheds and be good on the scraper…
a skidsteer would be useful on your farm tom plus you can get a feed pusher for it as well. day to day jobs would be interesting vlogs to 👍
You KNOW we are all gonna have a deeply vested interest in Dinky and the coming days/weeks with that little one. ;-)

Brilliant video Tom, you and Luke certainly have busy days!! Have a great weekend. 👍✊🐄🐄🐄🐂🐂😊
Good piece in Farmers weekly this week
Ohhh I’ll have to look 😊
Friday happy place is here
You need a Bobcat (skid steer) for mucking that barn! I’m sure you see what a great job Saskdutchkid does with his!
need a grab for the manitou tom, save all that pushing
Its almost like you need a small skid steer loader, for cleaning small barn stalls.
Dinky....love that little sweet face! More videos of her please! 😁
Great video - love seeing day to day life as well as everything else
Hello Tom, this is your farm ... A feast for the eyes. I will take an example, in what generation are you doing this? Thank you)
Luke is a top class man in every respect. Mind him Tom. Men like Luke are scarce.
I tom there a drain hole at bottom of Keenan to let rainwater out needs plug-in
Tom amazing! Greetings from Slovenia.
Love your videos I watch from South Africa
Great video Tom you should invested in a skid steer or Bobcat 👍👍👍
Great to see stuff getting done Tom. Lots of jobs out the way.

Tom your a hard working young man that loves doing what you do keep it going
do more of this type a video I love it
bobcat iis what you need great video
Another very interesting video
Skidsteer is definitely the way ahead
I’d say that buck rake would work very well if you put a hydraulic top link on.
You never seem to stop Tom. I don’t know how you do it. Do you ever rest?
HahHa I have every other weekend off 😊
Great video
We have a bobcat I swear once you’ve had one you never look back !
You need to try a skidsteer they are handy machines for the tight and work well as scrapers aswell
I agree on the skidsteer, doesn’t need to be anything special mine was only £3k
Great job my brother 💙👌🏻
