I've been following the game and im in their discord server it's looking like everything we could've asked for and looks like progress is going fairly smoothly and quick even!
you know its cool and everything, it has been on my wishlist for 3 years now but, im worried they are making a platformer game, not a platform for games... I hope they make it very open for the creators, like on LBP2 and 3

My main concern is the connectivity and how to play user levels. If i remember correctly, the way to play them was through the Steam Workshop, which feels really clunky and more like LBP PSP than any other title. Also with the layer movement, if you jump and the next platform is on another layer, will you automatically move? Or do you always have to manually change layers? Because if you do, i actually feel like the change would make platforming clubkier.
So they have an in game menu for levels with tabs for recent levels, your levels, hot levels and stuff like that. The UI for that actually looks pretty smooth ngl I'm not sure about the layer but I reckon it will switch automatically like in lbp3
@@InTheYellowBox There was an option to make it manual as well for some games that required that style of movement which was pretty neat. Do we know how many layers there will be?
I have some questions 1. Deaths should be only for certain death terrain like if it's lava it would be two hits before going down and the animation would be Stuffy behind getting hurt animation and the hot feet pain animation. Spikes makes sense for the fall flat death animation and pop death animation. So I think certain death terrains should have their own death animation or it wouldn't make sense. However the real question is the ice death terrain since the very first LBP scrapped it and wondering if it will be in Restitch? 2. Is there a Water mechanic? I have mentioned very much in the past and I am thinking the Devs aren't going to do it in Restitch then possibly a sequel which I am hoping it is a topic or if they change their minds and going to plan on doing it. Just wondering since LBP2 brought the water mechanic and it was refreshing to see fire being put out by it and swimming with a drowning count down (been awhile since I played LBP2). 3. Is there a way to customize the animal costumes?
I feel like I can answer 1 of these questions (but obviously don't take what I saw here as a quote because I don't 100% know. But if they were to add water I reckon it would come in as an update as making a sequel doesn't really work for ucg games anymore. I'm pretty sure they have spoken about water in the game at some point ❤️
