When I was in elementary school I remember reading a book about this. The main character, a boy who lived in a large city, set out to build a plane and win an annual contest at their neighborhood armory. I think the book was written in the 50’s. Where I grew up in the 60’s no one built and flew planes like this, but I loved the book and re-read it over and over. Great to see this video. Looks like a lot of fun!
You're welcome. Just trying to let everyone know that indoor flying is still a "thing". Keep looking, you might just find a new site! Use my videos as motivation! Thanks for watching.
You can send me your email at gliderguider@comcast.net. I'll add you to our email list. I'll be posting next season's schedule late summer. Thanks for watching and I look forward to meeting you.
Greetings from Germany -, Fulda. I am a Plane-Modeler myself and enjoy your Videos! Love this light-buildet Models! Unforteunatly I don't have Contact to the Indoor-scene. I could use more Hints/Tips!
Very much enjoy viewing your superb model builds Mr. Koptonak! Those of the Glastonbury Modelers' too! Super videos! Young man's SR-71 looks great! Remembered seeing Mr. Aronstein's plan.....Happy to pass along source!@@Watchingthevideos99
Thank you, Mike. HA HA. I was flying in the WWII mass launch and my camera helper had already left. The nice thing was I won the event with my P51B. A tough battle!
Pretty sure that design was published in the NFFS Digest but I cannot provide the month and date of the issue. There is a link for the NFFS in the description and I believe that digital copies of the Digest are available for viewing. Thanks for watching.

Do you know if you could find the plans to the SR-71? I searched everywhere yet could not find them.
Plan for David Aronstein's SR-71.." Hip Pocket Aeronautics ".....
