I finished my collection a year or so ago. I went down the rabbit hole and I managed to find all the big box toys to life collections. That took a lot of my energy. I’m glad I got the collection done before the prices started to go up. Nice video!

Thanks for the video. I been working on a list for a while. I started it in 2017. I haven't touched it in a while. I just did a full data check on it title by title and found 166 games on my list and I couldn't find a list out there that verified that. All of them say like 162 or 164. But I verified all 166 I found on my list. So seeing your collection and you saying there are 166 kind of validates my own work. So thanks again.
I’ve been there lol it took so long for me as well double checking and triple checking and just me personally deciding what does count and what doesn’t I didn’t wanna do every little variant and some list would be out of date because basically just dance was the only game releasing every year for the system I’m glad I was able to help!!
@@stationxr20 One question now that I am thinking about it as it could make my list wrong. On my list I did leave Bayonetta without Bayonetta 1 and Bayonetta that includes Bayonetta 1. I am torn on that one but it is part of my 166 and if I remove it I have 165. Did you do this as well? If not I could be missing a game.
EDIT: I think you did as I relooked over your footage and I see 2 Bayonetta's.
@@Grawbad with bayonetta how i counted it was the first game has its own disc but no bayonetta 1 case i have a empty case of bayonette 2 so that the first one has a case represented then i have the bundle of the 2 games together so that bayonetta 2 has a case as well its a little confusing but thats how i did it on my shelf and my list has the 2 games separated as if they got different releases
Thanks for this. I am slowly working toward a near complete set. I dont think I'll get the absolute shovelware like the just dance and the fitness games, but i do have most of the hard to find stuff and all the heavy hitters. I have around 80 titles but whats nice is most of what I do want to get is still relatively cheap.

Hold on to it, the prices will go up. Just a tip, buy extra batteries for the gamepad, and keep those, they will be GOLD for buyers in the future.
Would you ever attempt to collect the Atari Jaguar, that one also has a small library too (but very expensive).

I took almost a year and honestly I’m not too sure it’s definitely more expensive now to try and complete the system then it was when I did
You said you only collect US releases right? Because Skylanders Spyro's Adventure got a Japanese exclusive Wii U port by Square Enix for some reason. That technically makes the Wii U the only console with every Skylanders game on it.

Yeah only because it’s just easier to complete the collection but I do make exceptions I do own Japanese region games so I’ll probably get that at some point but Nintendo up until switch never did region free home console
I recently found a wii u cleaning kit for the north american region which was only sold on nintendo's online shop. I think that would be a good collectors item to look out for if you really want to complete the wii u library

I'm not sure if it's only a variant or not, but your missing one of the Just Dance games. It's Just Dance 2016: Gold Edition.
That’s awesome man! I do have that version of just dance 2016 but I don’t have the regular version I don’t necessarily count the covers like that because it’s pretty much the same games
@@stationxr20 You should be counting those variants. They are different SKU’s, so technically considered different games (much like the Bayonetta single disc and 2 disc versions). Looks like you’re missing Just Dance 2017 Gold Edition. I’ve have a complete Wii U collection for a few years now so really happy I started early with prices taking off recently.
@@niks7643 I’m happy you were able to complete it time will tell how expensive these games can get I do know some collectors want to have every different sku (by technicality they are different I work at a game store I know! 😄) but honestly for me as long as I have at least 1 version of the game the other variations don’t bother me if I’m missing them for some collections that would just take forever lol but they do look nice on a shelf! As for the bayonetta games the only reason I have both covers is simply I wanted each disc to have a case! Other wise I would’ve skipped it
@@niks7643 Everyone looks at "Complete" differently, but in the end, every game in the system set without variants is a complete collection. Regardless of Sku's. Beyond that every game including variants is a complete set too, but that adds "Including Variants". And you can build from there. In any event, I found this video because I wanted to verify my list which included 166 games. So I am happy.
There is also a 2017 gold edition with gold text on the side. The hardest Just dance to acquire is Just dance 2015 Nintendo Selects edition. (Not counting the big box W/remote).

Am heading for the complete wii u set too but veeeeeery slowly, yet I wonder how did it fit in ~3 shelves, may I ask how wide that shelf is please?
The shelf can hold about 50 games off the top of my head I got that thing a long time ago back when my whole game collection could fit on that lol I got it on Amazon
@@stationxr20 per Google a Wii u case is 14mm thick * 50 = 70 cm, they most be 75 to 80 cm then 👍
Mine are in storage containers, although must of my furniture is dark brown, but I have a feeling those blue cases would look nice in a white bookcase😊
Why are some Wii U cases red?
Mostly likely because red is associated with Mario the red cases are Mario kart and Mario 3d world but idk if that’s the exact reason

Yeah these are all the physical game disks for the Wii U!
The Wii U has only 166 games in its library? That’s less than all of the other console platform games library.
Yeah the Wii U was just not supported well and unlike when N64 and GameCube was doing bad Nintendo was focusing on the 3ds and mobile games on top of the Wii U so they where stretched pretty thin for awhile

- Did Legend of Kay really come in a white case?
- You bothered getting both version of Bayonetta 2?... the one with and one without the first game?!
- Wii Sports Club seems to have a misprint along the top of the spine (no blue).
My additional 2 cents:
This would have been better presented if you would have filmed and recorded voice over separately.
You should have filmed the collection, scrolling by each game at a pace and narrated on top. As it is... you SAY you have a full collection... but we haven't SEEN it... you kept the camera wobbling mostly on the same middle row of games the full time. I can't even tell what the title of the very first game is... I had to scrub and pause the video to get _just a glimpse_ of that bottom row... and also it took you over 5 minutes of just watching hands before we got anything worth looking at. I enjoyed listening to you... but the visuals get a D- and could have been far far superior and probably gotten you more than just 32 Likes for 1,188 views.
I appreciate the feedback to answer the quality of the video it was my first time trying to film something like this the behind the scenes would probably be an hour long because I recorded it in a bunch of different ways and when it comes to voice over I’m still very new to editing 😅 I still need some work on that honestly the whole video was a sort of experiment to see if anyone was interested in me talking about my collection I didn’t expect it doing as well as it did I usually do unboxings I will take the feedback into consideration and to regards to not seeing everything I realized that I wasn’t showing it super well so in the description I had the whole list of everything! I’ll maybe do a more updated video to better show it off in the future
To answer your other questions yeah everything you noticed the misprint Wii sports they messed up that case legend of Kay did indeed come in a white case and only reason I had both versions of the bayonetta case is because one only had bayonetta 1 when I bought it (I got it used and for cheep) so I just wanted them both to have a case represented!
