Glenn, I have to say that you're doing great with this. I enjoy each episode and look forward to the next. Sean's camera work is outstanding and I really like the transition of you under the truck then continue the camera pan up and your working up top. Seems you guys make a great team together. Keep up the amazing work.
Thanks for that! Unfortunately, I no longer have him here. He has moved on to other adventures. I am sure as the channel grows, so will the opportunity to acquire a new camera person.
I really appreciate that! I end up working alone most of the time (built my house 99% by myself) so I find ways to do things. I really appreciate you taking the time to comment. Thanks for watching.
Thank you! Only had to move the cross member back. I let that dictate where the engine would sit. My process was to let it sit there and adjust if needed, but it worked out perfect in that spot.
@@FunKingGarage How about the LHS motor mount area? Showing the cross member going under the engine in the area of the ECM with the ECM installed. From looking at my engine I cannot conceive of having an issue but I think 6.7 CR swaps are not as common as 5.9 CR stuff. Custom cars give custom problems. Thanks!
"Custom cars give custom problems." Amen to that! I will look and see if I have video or pictures of that area specifically and if not I will get some.
Full disclaimer: There is no "WHOLE" kit to do this swap. You will have to piece some stuff together and you WILL have to fabricate. With that said, I went with the comprehensive kit from Diesel Conversion Specialists. There kit seemed to be the best setup and I also used their rewire service. There are other options out there if you wish to piece the kit together yourself. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!
As long as there is an adapter plate, there should be no issues. Check with Diesel Conversion Specialists and see what they have available. You can also check in the Fummins Tech facebook group and look for Mike Fuchs. He makes adapters as well. But it has absolutely been done with manual transmissions.
Awesome video!! Thanks

Yes! Welcome, Cummins, to your new home!
It was truly an amazing feeling when that thing mated to the transmission for sure!
Awesome progress this week!
This was a GREAT step in the project. I can only imagine how it will be when I finally get to drive it. ;)
Great video. Glad to see it coming together
One of my all time favorite projects that I have had the opportunity to do!
Fummins? Where have I seen this before, oh yes Westen
Fummins is a term used for this. There are Fummins groups on Facebook. 😉
Working by yourself isn’t easy keep it up bro

@@FunKingGarage same here! People don’t know unless they know!
Very true! Well, you make sure you push on as well!
Love your videos.
17:50 Did you have to adjust the center transmission mounting bolts too or just the ones on the frame? Thanks in advance.
Thank you!

Did the ECM fit without any issues with those conversion motor mounts? Can you share a video of the space between critical components?
Yes, the ECM is in it's factory location. No issues there.
What spacing are you interested in seeing. (There are more videos coming.)
