Yeah, right... We will soon see how the PSA handles this... It is beyond time for a serious suspension. I could easily say more about their incentives and priorities, but I should leave it be...
I played junior tournaments when i was younger. There were guys like Shorbagy, Momen, Muller, Marche. All of them are true gentlemans. Squash is a gentlemans game, not a screwing game. Sad to see that players like Asal are top 3 player in the world and his behaving like this and doesn’t get banned for good😑
It's really a shame that a player like Asal has inappropriate behaviors while playing a professional match, and not having due respect for the opponent when he wins the matches.
You can´t educate a very provocative child by changing arguments, you must set a point and be consequent. OK, Asal has been treated sometimes very unfair by the referees but not by any player, so one year suspension for Asal seems suitable to me and Squash in general because otherwise Lee Drew and Lee Beachill loose their authority completely. What he has done with Hesham and again with Elias is inexcusable.
Lee Drew has never used his authority so therefore does not have any to lose. By not suspending Asal for the Chicago World Championships (Hesham, Makin) PSA has guaranteed the actions seen in this video.
Yes especially if he had already gotten a conduct stroke (I forgot if he had in this match, it could have been a conduct game [which might have ended the match]).
I've had this happen to me but only with friends who are about to lose the point and just cheerfully conceding it. In a professional game??!! With video !!?? That is just weird. Every time he seems to be getting just a step more mature he finds a new way to transgress. Shouldn't the Egyptian organisation do something to curtail this embarrassment? Or do the moneymen think that having a "badboy" is good for crowd drawing? ( If so, then its very cruel exploitation of Asal... his talent could be much better treated. )
Grabbing someone's hand doesn't happen by accident, and a conduct stroke is completely insufficient punishment for the level of disrespect to both the player and the game show by such behaviour. If there is clear video evidence, the player should be immediately disqualified from the tournament.
This cheating is not just Asal's fault any longer. The PSA squash gods are as much to blame for their inaction. This will happen again and again until referees and the cowardly PSA show some spine. I'd like to find a UA-cam algorithm to opt me out of any video with Asal in it
i stopped watching Squash months ago due to Asal... now this is the First Video after!🙏 PSA musst be crazy still letting this person play. letting this sport die.
you allow bad behaviour, you can't be surprised when people act badly. this needs to be a disqualification. not just bad conduct this is terrible sportsmanship. bad for the sport.
Apparently Asal has eyes in the back of his head to be able to see cheating Elias’ hands to grab them, and two brains, one that focuses on the ball while the other focuses on grabbing behind his back. Amazing how a lot of people are falling for these theatrics by Elias
I have been watching and playing squash passionately for 20 years. This is the first time I have been so disgusted by a player. He brings the sport into disrepute.
Asal putting PSA on shame once more
Not only cheating but also lying afterwards. Time to do post-match analysis and penalties on this behaviour

Technically he didn't lie, he said he didn't grab the racquet, he didn't, he grabbed his wrist
@@watching99134 he still could of taken the time to apologise as he knew what he did wrong.

BAN HIM AGAIN, why is this so hard
“I can’t believe he’s done it again”… How so? It’s Asal… it’s the way he plays.
i can, he's a cheat
A single stroke penalty is not enough to punish this blatant and repeated cheating.
asal is crazy. He seems to have phychological problem.
Asal is the most talented and fairest player, stop hating honestly

Should be Conduct match no warning !!!
Why is this Asal still on the court. Take away the win.
Once a cheat, always a cheat!
Asal makes a perfectly honest counter-argument: he did NOT grasp Diego’s racquet. Or his ear. Or his foot. Or his grandmother’s handbag.
Long time I’ve stopped watching Asal’s games. Watching Sport is an entertainment. He’s not an entertainer 🤮

Longer ban is needed to enforce consequences for SUCH bad behavior. Conduct stroke is NOT nearly enough for this.

Asal is an assal
Bro💀

the Zuares from squash (;-D
Just say bye bye to this dude already.
If PSA not doing anything on him, then PSA and Asal both shame to the squash world

How can they continue play, they should give the game if he’s repeatedly cheating
It’s a product of his imagination !
And he’s loosing, that’s why !
Asal brings a lot of toxicity to this game. Farag & Coll make this sport a joy to watch.
fr
You mean he’s done it before??
ASAL SHOULD BE EXPELLED FROM PSA, HE IS A SHAME FOR SQUASH AND FOR EGYPT AND HE IS A CYNICAL.
Please disqualify him. That could've immensely hurt the other player.
PSA is doin NOTHING, cowards
Asal is the worst Player never see before in my life .
Why is he not banned?
😎🤬
PSA shame on you to let player with this mentality.
What a liar. Blatant lies and he is a blatant cheater
he needs to be permanently banned

Sad! Please stop playing man… disgraceful for the sport and yourself
