I actually know some ppl who casually make that noise during a conversation or when its absolute silence. Some may call it weird but i think its hilarious 😂

@@thesterrave Buddy this is a Willy Wonka video.
I kind of like how Gene Wilder and Timothée Chalamet are getting along really well, while Johnny Depp is just confused by everything around him.
Tim Burton's Wonka is autistic
Well, I mean technically in the film he played a younger version of him as a teenager creating the factory and it's a prequel.
Si de repente te encontrarás en una sala con variantes tuyas de otros universos, también te confundirias.
@@franciscojavierjimenezdiaz5236Honestly I would be amazed.

YESSS!!
Yep.
Willy-Wonka: No Way Home
Willy-Wonka : No Way factory
Now all we need is a Black Wonka (Donald Glover 😭)
Johnny: socially awkward
Timothee: silly kid
Gene: too charming
Depp truly gave “weirdo that separates himself from the world and society, hasn’t spoken to a human being in years, and lives in a magic factory with humanoids that all look the same, trying to be friendly to children” more than the other two Wonkas, they’re more socially adjusted and whimsical. So many interesting versions
Wilder truly gave "clever schemer", befitting the book. Depp did not. Haven't watched Chalamet yet.
Depp’s Wonka also had father issues. Not the best for good mental development.
Johnny's version was the "I'm a weirdo and you shouldn't let your kids in here" kind of vibe.
@@CaptHayfeverno he didn’t, in fact Roald Dahl hated it so much I’m pretty sure he was incredibly stingy when it came to making anY more movies from his books. They changed roald Dahl’s movie script completely and changed wonka’s character. On the other hand depp’s wonka was ripped straight out of the book with this awkward and weird personality as it was made by his wife (I think) to properly make the book into a movie that would make Dahl proud. I’m not saying that 1 movie is bad and the other movie is good, I’m just saying your flat out wrong.
@@CaptHayfeverYou haven't read the book, then. Gene's character couldn't be further from the book version, and Roald Dahl hated the movie so much, he forbade anyone from making a movie based on Wonka till the day he died. That's why Charlie and the chocolate factory came out in 2000's.
“Arent you a little young to own a chocolate factory?”
“Yes, yes I am.”

He’s like the Willy in the book
Yet oddly is still the most modern looking

Timothee makes me FEEL awkward 😒
I've noticed that new Wonka is actually more of a mixture of Gene Wilder and Johnny Depp then just being a specific one of them. Like his outfit is very clearly Gene but the general colour scheme OF his outfit looks more Johnny Depp. Did anyone else notice this or am I just crazy.

I feel a close continuity between Chalamet's Wonka and Wilder's Wonka. It is totally believable that Chalamet could grow older and more cynical, and turn into Wilder.
I thought this would be a satire about some paid actors dressing up as Wonkas making fun of the new Wonka. This is just genuinely cool.

But I guess that's just me.
I seriously thought Tim’s performance of Wonka was going to be cringe because of how often I see him in dramas… but I was quite surprised by his optimism and enthusiasm. All three Wonka’s excelled at some aspects that make them superior

Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka from the 2005 film adaptation is one of my favourites.
I once saw a stage production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. In the scene in Wonka's office, there was a picture of Wilder's Wonka and Depp's Wonka taped to a wall. There were labels under both of them which read: "my father" under Wilder's and "my brother" under Depp's. I thought that this was funny.

@@thesterrave .....God is a fabrication for the sake of giving false hope that we will one day be reunited with our loved ones. It is a nice thought, but its being crammed down our throats constantly and keep calling out blasphemy in places where little sin is even committed just because. Worst cases being that of not accepting love between all sexes. Love is love, nothing changes that. If God exists, he is supposedly love, yet the religion keeps rejecting those who wants to love just because they are the same sex. If God exists he is ashamed of the church as much as anybody else. Blud that's not happening unless Gene Wilder comes back from the grave, someone is recasted as specifically his Wonka, or some CGI-frankstein shit
Into the Wonkaverse
Gene Wilder’s Wonka has been a recluse for years, hiding in his locked down factory keeping a close guard on his secrets/recipes from his rivals (Slugworth, Fickelgruber, Prodnose) that have tried to steal it from him. It isn’t for nothing that the "edge" which we think about when we hear the name Willy Wonka doesn’t manifest itself until his later years (Chalamet’s Wonka is 19 while Wilder’s is 45) This movie literally sees him just fresh off the boat, poor and trying to make a name for himself, trying to introduce his chocolate to the world. At the end of the 1970s movie Wonka shows that same optimism/innocence that he had when he was younger, it’s when Charlie passes the "greedy test" and proves that there IS in fact good, honest people left in the world that he can pass his factory on to, it ties into his younger, optimistic self before he got driven mad by isolation in the factory
Johnny Depp Wonka and Gene Wilder Wonka's are the best. You can't replace the classics, especially a remake that is a classic.
Seeing how great Timothee is makes me wonder how the heck does he go from this to creating a scary tunnel showing everybody’s fears?
Wonka was incredibly high the day he came up with the tunnel. HISHE!
considering Grandpa Joe said Wonka shut down his factory for a while after Slugworth kept trying to steal his recipes, my guess is Wonka became afraid and cynical, and sort of spiraled into madness. But seeing Charlie's kindness and honesty, his faith in humanity was restored.
@pizzalisp5427 So without Charlie, Wonka would’ve been a supervillain

When I saw the new movie I was asking myself if that's supposed to be the same Wonka from the first movie, because the Young Wonka is a pure guy who can't steal a bottle of milk but the adult Wonka enjoys watching a child drowning in a chocolate river

It's the tiny detail of having Gene react to Johnnys "I can see that" by looking at both Johnny and Timothy. It's a tiny detail, yet it fleshes out the concept of them all actually meeting and being in the same room.
I do like how it feels like three different eras of Wonka in his own life meeting. Depp’s is the awkward period where he hasn’t interacted with people for a while (before the Golden Ticket Contest) Wilder is obviously him post Charlie, and the new one is him when he obviously just got started.
It's Gene's Wonka meeting his past self
