This story was started when a video was posted by Breslov Punto in Spanish in which it appears on the surface to an non Spanish speaker that he was being pointed out as being the Moshiach Hezekiah Ben David. The video was entirely in Spanish so probably the person misinterpreted/ misunderstood the video. Breslov Punto went on to post another video explaining that the video was only a comparison between King Hezekiah and Jesus as to who would have been the best candidate to fill the role of the Messiah. The video featured Rabbi Sholomo Yehudah Beeri and the narrator was saying the name Hezekiah Ben David. and thats why they are calling him Hezekiah Ben David.. A lot of Christains are also keenly watching and looking for signs of the return of their Messiah Jesus .. I have also read that in Judaism there are no " accidents " so to speak...
I understand the Yanuka Rav Shlomo Yehuda is a kind of young expert in Torah. However, the controversy has been fabricated with the intention to create content. It has triggered the Christian Communities more than anybody else. I agree with Rabbi Weissman that this isn't unusual. I am myself close to The Church and not making a lotta fuss about this. A King whose father was King and there is no controversy does not need to be anointed. Since we have no current King, then Moshiach will have to be anointed.

Does anybody think that God is stupid to "play" with each one's expectations or desires when it is not right for each one what they really want? There may be other motives by some people for bringing this rabbi "out" if they knew that he is not the real Messiah, and it is not entirely to make (us) Christians say that the Jews had already found their Messiah--but for some of the Jews thinking that they could "push" the real Messiah to come out. It is sad to say that what Rabbi Kaduri said about the Messiah is true: there is the greater possibility that in spite of the Orthodox/Ultra-Orthodox fervent desire for the Messiah to come out, that they will not even recognize or accept him. For one, Jews are looking at the wrong person as the Messiah. He is not from the line of David or even the tribe of David. Genesis 49:10: He is the "man from Shiloh" and there is only one Messiah coming as there is no Messiah ben David. He is not Jesus Christ either. Remember what Rabbi Kaduri said in his letter, the Messiah is/will: He will raise the people and prove that his Torah is valid/right. You can bring your brightest Torah scholar and the Messiah will tell you all what is the right understanding of the Torah.
