Try using 5s. it has 80A ESC out of the box, ample room for the current. I use FMS predator 650KV with 4000mah 5s GNB Lipo. It flies like a rocket on full throttle.

Have you had issue with the retract servo? Mine stripped the carrier plate thread (the piece of metal that moves on the worm drive) after 20 flights.
