Agreed!. Saw Josh recently at the Baked Potato, LA. Tiny place! Awesome to be essentially in the middle of the stage with him doing his thing. Just amazing.
I had Josh CDs from a few years back cause he was new to me. Then he walked with JB last year in New Orleans. I mean he is the utmost professional. He signed up to accompany JB and he produces others too.He has , can stand on his on skill set.
Thanks for vid! I wasn’t there this time but did see KWS with Joe twice before and Joanne Shaw Taylor one of those times as well. Their friendship and respect for one another always results in great music!
Funky splendor...like the Reese solo for a change of tempo. He still has the goods after all these years. And how about Kenny jumping in with a note held for 10 seconds? Josh delivers an articulate solo that's short and sweet. Joe just keeps getting better, if that's possible.
Imagine Reece Wynans,On Keyboards!! 35 Yrs Ago, Last Month , SRV, A Helicopter, & A Foggy , Hillside , Crash/ Disintegration!! 😰 He,s My Favorite After,"Jon LORD , Of The Keyboards.. Saw Him At The Fabulous FOX Theater, In Atlanta, New Years Eve, 12-31-'86.. ( No Encore, Unfortunately. Places To Go, People ,SRV, Needed To See..) 😁 👍
What a great sounding band, well there’s always something to compare, maybe in our eyes it’s a guitar comp, It comes down to taste, but Josh wins for me in originality, and variety of note selections, Although he’s always in the background
I’m a huge JB fan but I saw KW Shepherd live He’s impressive He played a Hendrix song with the guitar behind his back He’s great hope to see him again soon!! One of the few people who plays at JBs level!! But Buckethead plays at Buckethead level!! 😂😂
Kenny is a very good guitar player but he’s limited to the blues box . Josh and Joe play outside the box and highlight the chord changes Sounds a lot more refined
Old guy on the key board is so cliche and the show looks embarrassing to me. You need them horns and gimmicks to play that size venue. Neither of you have a single song you're known for that is played on the radio. Why can't I tell the truth and not offend you all?
Why bother even saying that? It's not your thing, that's fine. There are tons of things I don't like but why waste the time telling people who do like things that you don;t like it? I mean I think Journey is a terrible band and I would never listen to them, but why would I go to their pages and leave comments about how crappy i think they are?
It's funny that you define the "truth" as your opinion. Pretty much tells me everything I need to know. Another keyboard warrior seeking attention online because the real world couldn't give two $h!ts about him. Bless your heart, sweetie ❤
I was there. 3 of the best blues guitarists on the same stage - amazing!! What a treat!
Please put Josh his name in the title. Great solo! Well deserved ❤

Glad to see Josh Smith got a turn. That dude is great!
Right?! He SO good.
Josh is Like a Swiss watch - perfect precision. What a line up…wish I had the chance to see all of them live again somewhere
I was there, first time seeing Joe and first time at the Ryman. An epic birthday weekend!
Joes band and live show gets better each time. Kenny and Josh are amazing in their own right
I had Josh CDs from a few years back cause he was new to me.
Then he walked with JB last year in New Orleans. I mean he is the utmost professional. He signed up to accompany JB and he produces others too.He has , can stand on his on skill set.
Kenny's intensity is just off the rails. Great performance by the whole bunch.
For real. Missing Michael Rhoades. But the new bassist is solid. Keep laying it down.
I saw this show...my first...I was totally thrilled. I love you Joe even though I didn't get a shout out. You and your band are righteous.
Joe B and Kenny WS - the two, absolute, GOATS of modern blues guitar playing. Josh a, literal, badass as well.
THE MUSIC MAN, and Kenny Wayne! Hell yeah!
Wow ! JB is great and in time running off those EJ riffs, Shep is mim SRV ! Josh is killing it with a good mix, the winner today is Josh for me….
Josh awsome solo !
Wow! Joe is sounding really 🔥 lately. I think he loving all the time in Nashville.
What an excellent display of three great players!11
Thanks for vid! I wasn’t there this time but did see KWS with Joe twice before and Joanne Shaw Taylor one of those times as well. Their friendship and respect for one another always results in great music!
Man, I would have loved to be at that show! OUTSTANDING!!!
So good!! Anyone know why these guys never invite Eric Steckle to these events? I would love to see him and JB go at it!!
Amazing they all are with JOE❤
I was there too. Good show.
Josh is other worldly talented. If he had a "sound" like the other two guys he'd shine brighter. So good.
Well hell ya 😊3 fantastic players and everyone on that stage are GREATS!!!
Josh Smith great playing
thumbs up for the josh smith solo 👍🏻
Was there last night. They killed it. KWS was badass, as was the chick killing it with that Tele.
RIP Michael Rhoades.

❤❤❤❤❤
And Josh Smith!
trop cool j'aime
Two Of The Baddest MF Out There .....
This is one of the rare times you'll see KWS improvise, surprisingly. His scripted solos are masterful on their own, though.

It comes down to taste, but Josh wins for me in originality, and variety of note selections,

@3:30 KENNY ....hang on it brother
Wow Now that’s some good Pickin.
All three are great but man, Joe knows how to get guitar to sing!
Josh is the 1
I’m a huge JB fan but I saw KW Shepherd live
He’s impressive
He played a Hendrix song with the guitar behind his back
He’s great hope to see him again soon!!
One of the few people who plays at JBs level!!
But Buckethead plays at Buckethead level!! 😂😂
At least the crowd got to see some REAL blues being played by Kenny.
W
If only their floor monitors were big enough. Sheesh! Lol
G3 3.0 😊
Dont forget Josh.
Kenny is a very good guitar player but he’s limited to the blues box . Josh and Joe play outside the box and highlight the chord changes
Sounds a lot more refined
"Kenny is a very good guitar player but he’s limited to the blues box" like SRV ? limited lol
How can you not mention Josh Smith in the headline ? He is at least as good a player than JB and KWS . I like them all offcourse
Will you marry me Joseph?
In my opinion I like Josh Smiths playing better than all of them.
That was mean.
And Josh Smith who’s better than both of them.
Yes he is creepy is a cereal killer
serial

@@AMR72277 ha, well said. 🎸👍🏼
The “old man” is the only Rock n Roll Hall of Famer on that stage, ‘Swiftie.
@@AMR72277 Glad I could educate you. Nobody gives two $h!ts about your mom.
Josh Smith!!! Dont forget the man!!
❤❤❤❤
